Why not get a player na lang? Our church recently bought an entry level Pio BD player at SM Appliance. It costs P4t only. Kina AVShop, the Pio 3D BD player costs P8,500. You already have a system naman.

May Pioneer BDP140 na ako

I recently sold my AVR+Surround+Center so I can have funds to buy an Int Amp for a Stereo setup for Music (C326BEE/Alpha B1/SW150).

Now am just opting to find an HTiB for Movies para included na speakers.

So additional question, lets say I can get a HTIB with Digital Audio In:

can I plug the Optical Out of my current BDP into that ^?
HDMI out goes to the TV HDMI In.

Yes. Pero you have to consider 2 things.

1. HD audio, does not pass thru SPDiF. Via HDMI lang siya. So you cannot utilize the HD audio of your BD.
2. I'm not also sure if the SPDiF input of your BD HTiB can decode dts, DD signals.

got this BD player from Samsung- with Vacuum Tubes, though im not sure kung totong gumagana to gaya lang din ng mga sakura na kahit wala ang tube tumutunog pa din

Soniq BH-100 BDP, for P2,700, excellent workhorse, will work anything you throw at, including HDD
except 3d although but thats find w/ me, purchased 3 units from Pekspert for the other rooms in the house. To be a little makulit on PQ & SQ my main unit the Sony s560 still tops a bit But for a P2,700 price tag its a steal!

LG BP325 3D blu ray player. It plays all sorts of video file formats that I throw at it including 3D mkv. It even plays the files that won't play in my dedicated media player. Tested it with 1TB HD and it works flawlessly. I was originally planning on buying a separate media player that plays 3D movies to match my new TV but decided not to get one anymore as this player already does the job. To top it all it only costs less than P5,000.00 which is cheaper than most budget media players not to mention those that plays BD's and are 3D capable.

For now I havent really reconnected my POPCORNHOUR to my system as my blu-ray player can play files from my external HDDs I dont see the advantage of a media players anymore over stand-alone blu-ray players. But then if you are not into buying blu-ray discs and instead want to just download media files then the way to go is via a media player.

I've been using this as a bd player for 3 years now and it's starting to fall apart. I noticed this months ago na it won't play some bds. I insert the discs and it makes a weird sound (parang it wants to eject but cannot). I'm really worried baka pagod na PS3 ko and biglang may masirang blu ray disc.

HELP PLS.
