may pre-outs pa. upgrade na ba ulit. ha ha. just kidding. speakers na lang muna.

though honestly the hk 255 sounded better to me. and that's saying something cuz the 1909 is very good na.

bosing, jus like to know if match ba ang hk 355 sa 4ohms speakers ko (M&K brand).
coz sa specs ng hk355, 8ohms speakers ang dapat gamitin.
specs ng speakers ko is: recommended power of 25w min, 400w max.
specs ng hk 355, 65wpc (7channel driven) lang . hindi kaya kukulangin sa power?
I'm confused.
any recommendation what avr to buy?

For 4-ohm speakers it is generally recommended to get an external power amplifier in order to drive the speakers to their potential.

Pairing the HK 355 with 4-ohm speakers would work but you will not be able to harness the full potential of your speakers because it will strain the amp. In general, receivers are only usually rated for use with 6-ohm or 8-ohm speakers.

Or if you prefer, you may bring your 4-ohm M&K speakers to avshop's showroom and see how they perform with the HK 355.

yup. it will still work but will have a harder time driving your speakers. but it should still sound good. the best talaga is to bring your speakers to the shop para ma-test mo kung ok for you. but objectively speaking, kaya pa rin ng 355 dapat but it'll also depend on the sensitivity of your speakers.
