I have PM80 Marantz Amp bought from a fellow pdvd member last 2012 but has recurring problem with sound output. There's static sound and "garalgal" effect, need to press "processor" to fix sound output. Was repaired by AVX shop in Harrison, but problem recurs. Please suggest reliable technician who could help bring my amp into its pristine sound state again. Yung pwede po sana mag on-site sa Greenhills, San Juan Area. Sorry for the OT.

Try mong i-pm si brader markcrenz baka sakaling gusto nyang tanggapin....nakausap ko na sya dati at dadalhin ko sana sa kanya yung pm90, pero dahil malayo ako sa metro, pinagtyatyagaan ko muna habang di pa ako nakakabyahe....

Sakit ba ng old Marantz natin yun? Also noticed na mabilis uminit yung panel. But never thought of cooling with electric fan while using it. Pero try ko.

oo yata bro, yun yata ang sakit nila, pero, ayokong bitawan, satisfying ang tunog e....last summer, after 4 to 6 hours of playing with electric fan, distorted na ang sound....last sunday, gulat ako, halos maghapon na kumakanta, pero di sya nagreklamo, siguro, dahil malamig ang panahon(with electric fan)....

Gandang umaga mga sirs

Have a question, just changed amps from onkyo 809 to marantz 7008 recently and it was the 1st time last night since then na i tried to watch 3d using my panasonic ptae7000

The problem is upon putting the 3d bluray only the audio is there the video from the projector blank

With the onkyo it was automatic to pass through the 3d video, with the marantz ba i need to set this thing up para lumabas yung 3d video mga sir?

Tried searching sa net about this problem cant find anything in relation to it.

Kindly advise... Thanks in advance

In my experience,it should work automatically. I am assuming that you are connected to your source via HDMI?

Go to the setup page of your marantz and check the inputs section.

Yes im connected thru hdmi sources.

I have already checked also sa input mode everything seems to be ok

Pag naman di 3d yung inilagay na movie ok naman sya may video and audio naman sir

Pag lang 3d saka nawawala yung video

hmmmm... yan din na-experience ko with my PM80a @sovrain and bladecutter_ph. kelangan ko press/depress source select button at startup to make it go away. after that, ok naman na. not using any fan on it. mejo mainit nga sya pansin ko lang din. mukhang known issue nga sya.

I think so. Kasi dati with the onkyo 809 gumana na sya eh en i never replaced any hdmi cable.

But now with the marantz i cant seem to get it to show the video.

Unless na mas maselan yung marantz compared to the onkyo pagdating sa mga connections

ako sir naka7008, anong player mo? I'll try it sa egreat kung 3d bluray. sa popcornhour ko ok naman with 7008 kung 3d. Sa pj settings ko kinakalikot kasi di automatic

My player is Philipps 3d bluray player

May popcorn hour din ako c300 but i still have not tried it today with the side by side 3d

Only tried so far with the physical 3d bluray disc.

Sir sa sobrang busy last year, di ko pa nadala kay markcrenz, though I already message him. Las Pinas pa kasi ako manggagaling but my office is in Mandaluyong area. Tried asking a nearby technician pero ayaw kong pagalaw kasi baka mag experiment lang. Will definitely bring to Markcrenz this week. Unless may option pa kau sir na iba na malapit sa south.

Gusto ko na minsan bumili ng ibang amp para sa vinyl ko, pero saying naman PM80 ko. Read positive reviews about it too. How about yours sir?

Sir you just gave me an idea. I can buy laptop cooler sa CDR king and just put it on top of PM80 when using it. Let's see if it works hehe

cdrking din yung gamit ko, he he, mura lang yung pinakamalaki nila. Bili ka na rin ng adapter na AC to USB, saksak sa power outlet right at the back of the amp..

Sir is your HDMI 3d compatible? Is it connected directly from PJ to your amps? Had same problem using Epson 5200 and another amp. It was resolved when I connected directly the HDMI cable (from source to amp).

My PM80 is back in its pristine state after Markcrenz fixed it. Need to bring the unit again last Monday kasi I failed to test phono with my turntable. Although nawala yung sound distortion, yung phono input naman inayos ni Mark. Got it again last Tuesday and now I'm enjoying my vinyls again. Thanks sir for referring Markcrenz to me.
