Sony to Join Games and Movies on Blu-ray
« on: Feb 12, 2009 at 08:44 AM »
Exercising the huge disc capacity advantage PS3 has over the compe***on, Sony will, later this year, release video game and movie hybrid discs that will contain both a film and a video game based on the film. As gamers are well aware, film property is often licensed for video game adaptations, and Sony's idea would marry the two entertainment mediums together.

What game / movie would you like to see and purchase  if this pushes through?

Would you even buy these type of discs?

depends really, movies may be great but video games based on the movie might be mediocre as usual.

back on topic: I remember the game John Woo's Stranglehold was packaged with its movie prequel Hard Boiled on BD.
It was a nice offer at around $60 ;)
