Topic: 780G based motherboard with COAXIAL digital Audio Output

Mga bro, pwede ba mag suggest kayo ng motherboards na AMD 780G based tapos may COAXIAL digital audio output sa backpanel or may kasamang SPDIF header na COAXIAL output pag binili yung motherboard.  Puro kasi Optical yung mga nakikita ko at kung meron mang COAXIAL eh audio input at hindi output.

you can try the Emaxx 780G Pro motherboards. It has a COAX digital output in the board, and it also contains a coax header that you can put in the expansion slots of your casing.

Something similar to this, but it only has one coax for output

When you say it has a COAX digital output on the board eto ba yung sa back panel kasama ng mga VGA and USB ports or SPDIF header pins na kailngan ng SPDIF header katulad ng naka attach na pic?

Bakit yung 780G ko eh stereo lang ang nilalabas nya?  Ginamitan ko na ng HDMI audio output sa A/VR

(Pio 520-K) stereo lang kaya nyang i decode tapos ginamitan ko na rin ng Coaxial..same thing stereo pa rin

ang  labas nya... Then nag test ako ng coax thru dvd player gumana naman yung 5.1 sa sa receiver...

Current driver ng realtek ko is WDM_R234... After ko mag play ng video sa VLC auidio set up nya is 5.1 

front  speaker lang talaga ang may lumalabas tapos pag si-net ko sa stereo ok na tunog nya kaso stereo

nga lang... Diko ma utilize yung 5.1 setup... Medyo ginawa ko na lahat ng option unsuccessful talaga.. Baka

may na miss akong procedure.. Patulong nalang po... Maraming salamat...

Afaik, the 780G does not have native HD Audio support. It will only output a 2 channel pcm or a legacy multichannel (Dolby Digital or DTS) stream. You should set your drivers/software to stream DD / DTS to get surround sound to work properly. If you're running Windows 7 / Vista, there would be checkboxes to allow you to select supported formats for the HDMI/SPDIF out under the Control Panel (Sound\Playback).

If you want HD Audio, you can opt to get an add-on video board that supports it (like the Raden HD 6xxx or 5xxx series).

just enable s/pdif passthrough sa ffdshow brader

sobrang newbie talaga ako, ask ko lang po kasi im planning na lang to have an htpc to my house using mobo emaxx-amd 880g http://www.emaxxtech.com/products.php?id=30. kasi po base sa tunog ng creative inspire 5200 5.1 na speakers ko with that motherboard eh ok naman po sya. Well ung interface audio ng motherboard lang ang gamit ko which is built in. Gamit ko palang player for watching movies is WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER using Klite codec. Lumalabas naman po ung separations ng mga tunog. Do i have to buy a creative sound blaster like 3k of price or should i stick to my motherboard audio interface? Please give me some advices of which is more better. Thanks more power to pinoydvd

By the way ung picture from page 1 meron po ako nyan kaso d ko po alam kung para san un. Well wala namn po akong saksakan ng ganyang interface kasi ung 5.1 speaker is compatible lang sa ordinary interface na sinasaksakan ng headset kaya ndi ko sya ginagamit.

I suggest you stick with what works for you. A nicer sound board probably won't make much of a difference with the speakers that you've mentioned. This is of course, unless you're looking for increased functionality that's unsupported by your on-board audio.

The SPDIF out is for connecting the PC to devices that have SPDIF inputs (Home Theater gear, Recording gear, etc.).
