I prefer the way they shot it in Tell Me You Love Me.  :)

But that was shot as "erotica." This is shot as porn. ;)

It is hands-down the worst TV show I've seen in a while. The story and dialogue are B-movie bad! But of course I'll keep downloading, and just fast forward to "the good parts."  ;D

MasterChef Australia is a Logie award winning Australian competitive cooking game show based on the original British MasterChef.

Warning lang, one season is 80+ episodes  :o

I recently caught an episode of this on StarWorld. I once said I'd never watch a dating/fashion/cooking reality show. This was so good it made me reconsider.

^^the BBC MasterChef series was the original, and had a decade-long run from 1990-2001. This original series prompted PBS to adapt a version for USA audiences called MasterChef USA; this show aired for 2 seasons until PBS pulled the plug due to declining ratings.

In 2005, the BBC resurrected MasterChef in the UK with a revamped format and retitled it as MasterChef Goes Large. This new series became rather successful, and in 2008 they reverted the series title to the original, plain MasterChef title.

Australia made its own MasterChef series in 2009 based on the revamped BBC show, but making its own unique changes to the format. The revamped BBC series was also the basis for a MasterChef revival in the USA in 2010, this time aired on the FOX network.

The Fades (BBC)

Iain De Caestecker is Paul, a young man who is haunted by apocalyptic dreams that neither his therapist or best friend, Mac, can provide answers for. Worse still, Paul is starting to see the Fades – the spirits of the dead – all around him. They're everywhere but they can't be seen, smelt, heard or touched by living beings. But now an embittered and vengeful Fade has found a way to break the barrier between the dead and the living and Paul, Mac and their friends and family are all right in the eye of the storm. But the most terrifying twist is yet to come – the fate of humanity rests in the hands of the two friends who already have enough trouble getting through a day in one piece, let alone saving the world.

I dont know the exact name of this new UK series but the theme is about disabled people who are doing things that would almost be unthinkable for their condition.

First episode is about Nic Hamilton, the brother of F1 star Lewis. I didnt even know that he is suffering from cerebral palsy.  His ambition is to become a race driver like Lewis and with the Hamiltons' full support and love, he took part in the 2011 series for hatchback looking cars.  Family is giving him that chance, or go to the uni.

Very nice and touching insights into the Hamilton family.  I never liked Lewis but I think I just became an admirer of him and his father Anthony too.

Bomb Patrol Afghanistan

This documentary series is about  the real-life "Hurt Locker" (Explosive Ordinance Disposal unit - EOD) guys during their 5-month station in Afghanistan.  That heavy space-suit looking body armour is not being used na pala - probably too heavy and inconvenient for movement.  Searching for and disposing IEDs is both nerve-wracking, timeconsuming and boring (needs lots and lots and lots of patience) job pala.

A Touch of Cloth, a Sky 1 crime drama infused with Brit humor starring John Hanna (Spartacus, the Mummy series). Its just 2 episodes per season and currently on its 2nd. Stupidly insane!

The Wrong Mans from BBC, created by James Corden and Mathew Baynton. The 6th and last episode for the 1st series just aired. It's a comedy thriller. It's funny and action packed with lots of twists. Reminded me of the Edgar Wright-Simon Pegg-Nick Frost collaborations. And yeah, the title really is like that. It's not a typo.

I guess this would generally fit the bill.

Being hooked on Arrow, friends recommended me viewing on DVD... The Greatest American Hero.  And I actually loved it.  I thought the theme song was great as well as the show.  It was a perfect blend of superhero action and comedy from a very reluctant hero.  Still finishing season1.  But I find this better than Shield! ;D

I think this should be remade for the big screen! ;)

This was a popular hit series which aired on channel 7 in the 80's. Back then, I eagerly waited each week to watch a new episode but I didn't get to finish the whole run of it.

Les Revenants (The Returned)

In an idyllic French mountain town, a seemingly random collection of people find themselves in a state of confusion as they attempt to return to their homes. What they do not yet know is that they have been dead for several years, and no one is expecting them back. As they struggle to reintegrate with their families and past lovers, buried secrets emerge and new mysteries develop as they grapple with a miraculous and sinister new reality. But it seems they are not the only ones to have returned from the dead. Their arrival coincides with a series of gruesome murders which bear a chilling resemblance to the work of a serial killer from the past.

Emotional and thought-provoking with gorgeous setting and excellent music from Mogwai.

Sex Sent Me to the ER
« Reply #113 on: Feb 04, 2014 at 04:55 PM »
Sex Sent Me to the ER is a TV show on the TLC network that premiered on December 28 2013.[1] The show has actors reenact real-life accidents that occurred during sex.[2] A preview reported on by The New York Post included segments on a 440-pound man who put his 110-pound girlfriend's head through a wall,[1][3] a woman who suffered a two-hour orgasm,[4] and a man who broke his penis while having sex with his wife and his girlfriend (who subsequently fought in the emergency room).[2][4]
The show is produced by GRB Entertainment.[5]

Just completed the season (10 episodes).   Very good!  Medyo parang GOT somewhere sa Middle East.  I understand this series is from the same producers of Homeland.

Girl Meets World

This is not the usual TV series that a lot of us would be following, but for those who grew up in the 80's watching Corey and Topanga on the TV series "Boy Meets World", you might want to take a look at this one.  Corey and Topanga are back, married with a teenage daughter.  I only watched the pilot, not sure if the other characters on Boy Meets World would show up.
