The game is physical, but I have problems with the quick whistles the refs are giving in terms of technicals. It's the playoffs and they should let some plays like an afterthought shove between players go.

Ariza steals this one for LA again! Still gotta hate that FT shooting. Good thing they made the ones that mattered.

Either Ariza is really a tough defender or Denver is just simply too careless with the ball in the crucial plays. Maybe it's both.  For the second time in 3 games, Denver failed miserably to do an inbound pass.  With the same player stealing the leather - Trevor Ariza!  Balita ko napamura ng tagalog na daw si Coach Karl sa buwiset nya kanina. ;D Despite the woeful free throws of the Lakers, they still managed to win.  Why?  Because Melo was a non-factor in the 2nd half!  Sayang yun heads up play ni Chauncy who to me is the most consistent Nugget of them all.  The next game is a "must win" for Denver. Or else, LA wraps it up at home.

I think Orlando can take the series if they have the mindset to do it. They can crawl back from big leads and win. I'm not sure about Cleveland if they can do the same. They still rely on James to do all the work for them. One thing to note is Cleveland's offense in the second half. When Orlando started to come back, Cleveland's answer was merely LeBron.

Plus the fact that Orlando is playing with no pressure whatsoever.  Those guys are just having fun out there!  A friend of mine joked that Hedo and Lewis seemed "puyat" and "lasing" during games and still they manage to score. ;D  The Cavs, on the other hand, seemed uptight every time the Magic rallies and gets the lead.  Talk about inexperience huh.

^ Yeah.  That thought must be really weighing heavy on the Cavs' minds.  If they go down 1-3, it's going to take another miracle to salvage their season (and not just a game).  I hope they go back to Cleveland 2-2, para mas exciting.  :)

Di kaya ni Lebron mag-isa yan. He needs a big man to support him. Di rin naman consistent si Williams e. Di sila nakaexperience ng malupit na adversary ngayong playoffs til Orlando. They just cruised the first two rounds kaya di nila alam kung panong gagawin kapag pressured na sila. Kaya I'm taking back what I said earlier that fodder lang ng Cavs ang winner ng Boston-Orlando series. ;D 3-0 na sana. Well, it's still a long series. Anything can happen. ;)

2-2 yan if Stern can do a magic act against Orlando sa next game. Hehe. A Denver-Orlando finals wouldn't attract much revenue for NBA as with an LA-Cleveland series (now that some Chinese firm is getting some business deal with the Cavs).

Stern did everthing he can to make this series 4-0 in favor of the Cavaliers...the Magic are just that good...the Cavaliers just can't handle a series this close...the Magic are no Pistons...the Magic are no Hawks...

The Magic is just a bad match up for the Cavs. Defensively, they don't have an answer for Hedo Turkoglu and Rashard Lewis. But I still think that the Cavs will win the series.

cavs should dig deeper on their bench. gibson, wally world etc.

orlando is using their bench well at least at end game may kaunting energy pa para sa last push ang players nila.

Again, I'm not surprised at all.  The Magic is a bad match up for all the remaining teams now because of their superior FRONTCOURT.  Look at the stats earlier :  Magic's Frontcourt, 72 points.  Cavs, 21 points.  Well, you might want to add James' 41 pts but still that's only 62 points.  And technically, James is a backcourt man.  No matter how much King James will score, if the Cavs cannot control Magic's frontcourt ( Howard, Turkoglu, Lewis, Pietrus) there's just no way they can win this series.  They can never win a title with Ilgauskus and Varejao as their big guys ( both scored a total of 13 points and yes, 6 fouls each guarding Howard ).  In the 3 games of the series, the only win of the Cavs is via a hail mary 3 pt shot of LBJ.  That should tell you something on who's the more dominant team.

Are you referring to Lebron?  He's everything but a choker, man.  But basketball's a team game.  He can't do it all by himself.  But he's doing things that we haven't seen in a long time in a player -- he shoots, assists, defends, rebounds and he even analyzes plays when interviewed--  truly phenemonal!  That last second shot in Game 2 was sick,  wheeww!!

I predict a Nuggets win on Game 3 (which, sadly, I will be able to watch because it falls on a Sunday). A blowout, maybe by 20 points or so.

And then LA will win Game 4 (which, sadly, I will not be able to watch live because it will be on a work day).

As to the last 3 games, may the best team win. Which means the Lakers :)

Ang galing mo, ha! Napagbaliktad mo lang game 3 at game 4. :)

Has anyone seen the MVP (Most Valuable Puppets) ads of Nike? Kakatawa how they keep on portraying Lebron as the hyper, powder-clapping puppet who keeps tailing the cool Kobe puppet. The second one is just Kobe teasing Lebron with his rings. The third one is just so unstoppable. Hehehe

hahaha! ang hope ko pa naman, since I was proven wrong with my game 3 prediction, that they would win game 4 as well. in this way, Lakers could win the series in 5 games and kobe can rest. oh well...

It looks like Dahntey Jones is putting his foot down on Kobe. I wonder if it has anything to do with the WWE vs Nuggets controversy...I hope Dahntey Jones is not auditioning for the WWE....
