hahaha! ang hope ko pa naman, since I was proven wrong with my game 3 prediction, that they would win game 4 as well. in this way, Lakers could win the series in 5 games and kobe can rest. oh well...

Lakers were the Laguna Lakers again today.  Plus Denver played extremely well too.  Although I thought there were some cheap shots by Jones (tripping on Kobe) and Nene (elbow on Walton).  You can be physical but not dirty.  I'm expecting a Laker win next game and a wrap up in Game 6 at the Forum.  But then again, you can never be sure with the Lakers.  Depends on who shows up -- Los Angeles or Laguna.

Has anyone seen the MVP (Most Valuable Puppets) ads of Nike? Kakatawa how they keep on portraying Lebron as the hyper, powder-clapping puppet who keeps tailing the cool Kobe puppet. The second one is just Kobe teasing Lebron with his rings. The third one is just so unstoppable. Hehehe

Unstoppable

Thanks for this. Funny!

Magic win! Cavs down 3-1. So much for Mo's series win guarantee. ::)

"History is on the Magic's side heading into Game 5. Teams with a 3-1 lead are a staggering 182-8 in series dating to 1947."

Good luck to Cleveland.
We deserve better.

- let Lebron stay in Cleveland
- a major revamp in their roster that will support James (a good point guard, a reliable shooting guard or forward)
- fire Mike Brown (for just staying with James all season long and not thinking of a better system that will help him (LeBron) in the offensive end)

That is what Dan Ferry should be thinking after this series is over.

It's premature to say but with the way the series is going, I can't see LeBron's team winning this series. Unless his teammates and coach realize that Lebron needs help in scoring.  ;D

This series should have been a sweep if not just because of LeBron's buzzer beater in game two.  ;)

 LA-Denver na!  ;D

Another thing to watch out for is...Dwight Howard is one technical away from an automatic suspension...while, Kobe is two technicals away from an automatic suspension...

Oh, $hit! I can't imagine a Denver-Orlando finals. Noooooooo!!!!

History din is against the Magic coz I seem to remember a Tmac-led Orlando having a 3-1 lead against Detroit and then losing three straight.

If the Cavs loses the series, it's very likely that Lebron leaves Cleveland.

The Cavs is done!  And I hope I'm wrong because I'm still hoping for a Lakers-Cavs finals.  But no way can Lebron do it all by himself.  No way.  They had a shot earlier at winning the game.  Up by 1 with 6 seconds to go.  And they blew it.  Forget Lebron's 41 points and game tying free throws.  His supporting cast is pathetic.  Offensively and defensively.  Still no adjustments for Dwight Howard.  Maybe they should have given Shaq (who was watching in the sidelines) a Cavs uniform and let him guard Dwight for them :(

Precisely!  It would've been a clean sweep for the Cavs in the post season - Swept Detroit round 1, Swept Hawks round 2, Swept BY Magic, round 3...  ::)

Saw Siriusblack noted this too :o :o :o

With Magic playing like they are, it will be really hard to come back from a 3-1 deficit ::) ::) ::)

Good luck to Cleveland.

If Lebron James wants a shot at greatness, then now is the time!  I will be a true-blue Lebron fan if he lifts the Cavs to a 3-0 finish to win this series.  Then maybe, just maybe, I can start comparing him to MJ.

If Lebron and tha Cavs looses to the Magic, definitely he will not come back to play for the Cleveland next season. Mukhang matutuloy na sya sa NY.

Here's an interesting article from Sports Illustrated. It seems that the NBA really wants a Lakers-Cavs Finals. Daming pera nun for them. Dwight's "foul" on Lebron in the closing minutes of Game 3 clearly wasn't a foul. Block yun. Buti na lang nanalo sila. And now that the Cavs are down 3-1, that Dream Finals matchup will just be a dream. Hehehe ;D Unless, the refs have other plans. ::)

I don't know if the same can be said of the Lakers-Nuggets series...it seems to me that the Nuggets are the ones the referees are favoring...an example is the tripping Dahntey Jones did to Kobe, obviously it's intentional...if Dwight Howard, in the Cavs-Magic series, could get a technical for taunting...why not J.R. Smith? etc.

I think Stern wants the Cavs to win the Championship and crown LeBron the King of all NBA Kings...the thing that can make it special, Stern hopes LeBron can beat a hurting Kobe for it...

Except for Williams & Legler, these same "experts" picked the Lakers to win the 2008 NBA Championships vs the Celtics.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs2008/series?series=lalbos (scroll down to mid of page)

We all know what happened.
Makes one wonder why they are called "experts". ;D ;D ;D
