Sigurado na Lakers dito. Kitang kita na.
Lakers should grab this opportunity and make an early kill.

Kitang kita na kabado pa ang Orlando Magic. ;D

I'm expecting Orlando to play much better on Monday.  They can't play any worse, and it's unlikely for the same team that eliminated Boston and Cleveland to keep underachieving at this stage of the post-season.  So I hope LA doesn't become complacent or over-confident.  A 1-1 split heading into Orlando for Games 3 to 5 will be bad news.

We deserve better.

Here's a quote from Kobe I read in LA Times..."We haven't found anything," he said. "It's one game. No big deal."  That's quite scary for the Magic.  8 years ago mahilig magyabang tong si Kobe pag nanalo pero ngayon --"No big deal".  This dude is really on a mission.  And before pag nag 40 pt game tong kolokoy na to, e alang assist.  Ngayon, may kasama pang 7 assists average for the last 3 games.  I just have a feeling that in this series, Kobe will drop a 70 pt game.  Or maybe even break his 81 pts.  Ano kaya?

^Celtics are a sure contender but they will face steeper competition from Orlando and Cavs next year. Magic will definitely gain some experience from this year's playoff and championship run to be a handful for the Celtics even with KG.

Game 2 will probably dictate how the series will be. If the Game 1 Magic shows up tomorrow it will be a short series. If they don't match the energy and intensity of the Lakers and they don't resolve how to guard Kobe in the pick and roll it might be done in 5. They need to start hitting their shots from the outside to free up D12 inside.

Someone here posted that LA is lucky this year. Have to concede that in this game at least. Great play by Van Gundy to end regulation but maybe he should've used Nelson there instead.

Solid D by Turkoglu on Kobe. But good thing the Lakers kept their composure in the end.

Great game...that was the type of game that most people are expecting. Lakers up 2-0 in the series.

This is why the Lakers are in the Finals.. so far, they have won the games that matter.. game 7 against Houston, game 3 vs. the Nuggets to take back home court, game 6 vs. the Nuggets on the road and now game 2 of the Finals to hold court..

no other teams deserve to be in the Finals than these two.. and whoever wins, deserves it..

Lakers win! ;D I think Kobe should've passed the ball to a waiting Odom for the corner three near the end of regulation. Libreng-libre si Lamar nun. Kung lumusot man sya kay Turkoglu, naghihintay naman si Dwight sa kanya. Anyway, good game. Gamuntik na masilat ni Courtney Lee.

Ariza and Odom were just waiting.   Kobe could have had his "MJ to Kerr" moment.

The Lee misses  (actually 2 in a span of 10 seconds),  the basketball gods were smiling on the Lakers.

Gasol's fingers made the rim move when Lee made the shot. Excellent no call; but should've been a goaltending violation IMHO.

Bawi raw ng mga Refs...yung Howard block ke Gasol, galing raw kamay ni Dwight loob ng ring.

"We missed it. I don't know what else to say," Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said. "We executed well, Hedo made a great pass. I'm not trying to be a pain ... Hedo made a great pass and he just missed it."

Lee's mind must be pretty messed up right now.  With just a one day break, it's gonna be tough to recover from a missed opportunity like that.

Yup much better game indeed.  Great adjustments made by SVG.  Great D by the Magic especially Hedo on Kobe during the Lakers' last ball possession in the 4th quarter.  And perfect execution during the last 0.6 second.  Too bad Courtney Lee missed what could've been the winning basket.   Ganun talaga. Pag hindi sa yo, hindi sa yo.

I still stick to my 4-2 prediction. I think the Lakers will want to win at the Staples Center.  Sana naman medyo humaba ang series para naman sulit!

Didn't realize that today was the 14th anniversary of the Nick Anderson curse [LINK].  "Same date, same painful June 7 ending for the Magic."  Creepy if you're an Orlando fan.

If the Orlando Magic doesn't win a single game in this series, that miss by Lee could just be the biggest miss of his basketball career.

Give the guy a break. They lost in OT, not because Lee missed the shot.

Yes, but he could have iced the game with that shot and not gone into OT.  When you go into OT against the Lakers, at the Staples Center, more or less game's over unless you're the Boston Celtics with KG or Chicago Bulls with Jordan.  Said Stan Van Gundy after the game, ""We missed it. I don't know what else to say," Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said. "We executed well, Hedo [Turkoglu] made a great pass. I'm not trying to be a pain ... Hedo made a great pass and he just missed it."   E kahit Coach niya e sinisisi sya.  I really feel sorry for Courtney Love, este, Lee pala ::)

If ever the Celtics will come back next year, I dont think they will win with the same roster. The Lakers are experienced and tough now unlike last year. Who knows, they might add power in their rosters next year.

The Lakers are making Dwight work for his shots. In two games Howard has only shot a combined 6 for 16. Credit LA's front line for forcing him out of position and his lack of a reliable post move.

but i think the lakers might need to beef up as well... specially in the PG position with Fisher... and probably even on Lamar Odom...there are just so many good teams in the NBA... or there is so much balanced talent in the rosters.

with the Celtics... thats +1 more year on Pierce and Allen vs. younger teams like Cleveland, Atlanta, Orlando.. everybody will want to make some moves in the offseason...
