^ I agree.

I can also smell a sweep or maybe Orlando can snatch one in their court. Sana nga umabot man game 7 pero malayong mangyari. Di pa hinog ang Orlando for a championship.

Naku! :)

Excerpts,

"The point is, nothing about Game 2 would say, or even suggest, that this series is over. Just the opposite. After Game 1 indicated Los Angeles was out of Orlando's league, Game 2 went the other way. Game 2 showed a Magic team more than capable of playing with the Lakers, and even of beating the Lakers. Yes, Courtney Lee, we're all looking at you."

And it goes without saying that if the LAkers were able to beat the Magic by 25 and knowing they can beatt hem in a close game, then Kobe and co. must be feeeling good about their chances of winning two more against this Magic team (which they weren't able to beat at all in the regular season).

^ True. But in the short term, if they haven't learned from their previous series, they're due for a "mailed in" game.

If Tiger Woods attends the game in Orlando, he will bring his magic to Magic's game.  He played superb last week in the Memorial.  His good friend Federer got his grandslam a few hours previous to that.  So his (now) favorite NBA team should win the championship.  It has to come in 3s.  Ganon lang kababaw analysis ko.  ;D

hehe pero at least hindi na si chino trinidad yung partner nya.  ;D

sa c/s origin may coverage din ng finals. mas maganda yung coverage dun kasi hindi kaagad kina-cut yung coverage pag may time-out, minsan nga wala ng commercial  ;D. sa btv madalas kakatawag palang ng timeout, nagsasalita pa yung mga commentator biglang puputulin, cut-in to commercial kaagad.

Gasol's fingers made the rim move when Lee made the shot. Excellent no call; but should've been a goaltending violation IMHO.

Goaltending daw... Phil Jackson says so.

Quote
Lakers coach says Gasol goaltended

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Los Angeles coach Phil Jackson says Lakers center Pau Gasol should have been called for goaltending on the missed layup by Orlando's Courtney Lee at the end of regulation in Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

With 0.6 seconds left and the score tied 88-all, Lee caught an alley-oop pass but missed his short shot as Gasol's right hand grazed the net and his fingers banged into the rim. Lee's shot caromed off the backboard and fell out, sending the teams to overtime.

The Lakers went on to win 101-96 on Sunday, but on Tuesday, Jackson, calling the rule "kind of archaic," said basket interference should have been called. Jackson felt Gasol's attempted block did not interfere with the shot, but that by the strictest interpretation of the rules it was interference.

With hot shooting like that, the Magic deserved to win. Kobe must be pretty disgusted with himself right now.  :P

Dahil hindi sila talaga magkapatid. Ang tunay na kapatid ni Stan ay si Ron Jeremy. Hehe...

No worries.   It took hot shooting ( and tough shots) and combination of Lakers missed FT for the Magic to squeak out a win.  It was winnable for the Lakers till that last Kobe-Gasol miscue.

Great game though for the Magic.   At least Howard can now say to Shaq, he wasnt swept in his first finals.

game one and two on cs/9 was ok.. but when i watched today.. local commentary was airing... not to bash on our local commentators.. pero pwedeng palitan si dr. j? kasi.. grabe e..

at the end of 3rd quarter with 30+ seconds to go...

"i dont think the magic are looking for the 2 on 1... (diba dapat 2 for 1?)"

dr j. : stein van gundy....

dr j.: that was a good effort by tyrone lue... (he was referring to Lee)

dr. j: stan man gundy...

dr j:.... amar odom..... (pinaghalo si amare at si odom?)

either he was stoned or may jetlag? tapos ang lethargic magsalita.. will give kuya cesar a run for his money..

sana naman.. maglagay sila ng mas commentators that knows the players and the rosters of the team!

I personally never was a fan of any local commentator/analyst...that is why I just visit PinoyDVD, whenever, I need a good read on feedbacks about an NBA game by local NBA fans...

Buti na lang we still have the Mark Jackson-JVG-Mike Breen trio in BTV.

Confettis fell down the Amway arena after the final buzzer. Parang nag champion ah. Why not?  It was the FIRST EVER win of Orlando in a finals series.  Remember they were swept by the Rockets the last time around.  Big win by Orlando via a whopping 63% field goal percentage. Hanep!  Mahirap talunin pag ganun.

----

As for the simultaneous coverages ( SkyCable ), I find channel 33 ( C/S Origin ) with better reception and PQ than C/S 9.  And yeah, mas magaling umingles yun mga commentators he he he.  Earlier, I can sense that Dr Andy Jao and Mico Halili were rooting for the Magic.. para mas matagal sila sa States!
