is there a small compact satellite dish that I can use in a condo setting... it needs to be functional yet can be positioned not to be seen outside of the condo balcony...

You can use the much smaller dish of Dream/GSat provided that your balcony faces South..

Your TV should have an optical out and your HT system should have an Optical In and connect them using an optical cable if you want to utilize the digital audio and enjoy 5.1 encoding. If you do not have it, you are left with the left and right analog composte audio, you can just use pro-logic if your Sony HT system has it to get at least 4.1 audio.

Its not a loss since only one channel in cignal's line up offers real 5.1 audio.

Fox Sports Philippines aired UFC Macau live.......but only because FOX SPORTS/ESS was able to make a deal for UFC fights held in Asia Pacific wherein broadcasting rights can be shared with an existing local provider (i.e. ABS CBN, etc.)

This was done during the Grammys, Golden Globe and Oscars which aired on Velvet Channel as well as on Fox Movies Premium (on Skycable only ; not available on Cignal and other PH pay tv providers)

been waiting for the new channels that they promise on their website and i have scan it on my fta box and they are testing last april 26. may na wala pa din favorite channel ko na TLC (my dream in HD). I check cignal.tv at wala na ang promise nila na new channels.

Nasa ABS-CBN ata ang exclusive coverage ng FIFA World Cup so I doubt kung magkakaron ng PPV sa Cignal.

Sana naman final na talaga yang new plans na yan, sobra na paghihintay ng mga subscribers sa new channels kahit di naman talaga ganon kaganda mga dinagdag na channels.

but like always, the existing plan you pay as subscribers today will not change. New plan will affect new subscribers only after it takes effect.

wala naman bago dun, alam naman natin na galing antenna lang ang feed ni ABSCBN

kasi, ayaw sila bigyan ng ABSCBN ng satellite feed direct si Cignal.
kaya wala tayong magawa na manunuod kundi magtiis sa aerial broadcast feed nila.

magbago lang yan pag naka digital tv format na
kasi yun lang pwede nila gamitin na digital feed

....having intermittent interuptions lately mga a few seconds to a minute every few minutes..
Mag pixelate muna sya then mawawala yun program khit ano channels..
My bro also a subscriber from another town is experiencing the same mga 2 days ago na..so it must not be the lnb acting up again.. Pati yun sister ko across the street ganun din..
Then knina my wife pointed out na bago na un GUI ng cignaltv... Baka cignal is in the process of updating the system kaya crappy ang reception...?

Anyone else having the same experience...?
