gaano ba katagal nawawalan ng signal kapag malakas ulan sa mga dish ang gamit? what if the whole day malakas ulan whole day din walang cable?

since last year September lang ako nag switch to Cignal, siguro three times pa lang ako nawalan ng signal pag malakas ulan, I think less than 20 minutes lang pinaka matagal. never ko pa na experience na whole day na malakas ulan then walang signal.

I think gano'n talaga pag dish ang gamit, same experience before with Dream ... dito siguro advantage yung Cignal via PLDT Fibr, lakas ng ulan sa amin kahapon pero di nawalan ng signal

Hows the picture quality? Mas ok ba kaysa sa skycable?

I used to have Cablelink sir, wala naman interruption pag umuulan, katatapos lang ulit ng malakas na ulan dito ... I'm using Cignal via PLDT Fibr sir, not satellite dish ... picture quality of HD channels is just the same as Cablelink ... yung SD channels parang superior itong Cignal, negative lang is having that Cignal logo permanently

^^ yan talagang cignal logo ang nakakaasar since lumipat ako from SKy to cignal. pero ayos lahat so far, pati HD channels malinaw naman. and of course NBA premium and hyper channel sulit na sulit!

Satellite dish ba kayo or via pldt fibr?
Planning to switch kasi to cignal via fibr, mas malinaw nga ba ang hd picture quality?
Saka sinasabi nila dolby surround sound na dawcignal, mad maganda nga ba sound quality nila compare sa sky?

using Cignal via dish sir. Yes Dolby sounds na sila with some HD channels, haven't tried using the HT with it yet so di ko pa masabi if maganda sounds.

Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus meaning kaya i-decode ang 7.1 channels.

I use it once in a while sa movies and the NBA, knowing fully well that not all channels are really equipped with true Dolby Digital sound. Sa HBO, iba pa rin pag bluray yun source ko. Mas buo yun sound. Sa NBA naman, hmmm, mas maganda pa rin yun tunog ng NBA 2k17 ng anak ko.. mas rinig mo yun talbog ng bola at swish ng net. But hey, it's better than TV. I'm sure the NBA Finals will be a treat.

For me, the good channels with dolby surround are Discovery, Nat Geo, History and CNN. Buo yun sound and close to real dolby.

My sister has Cignal via PLDT Fibr. Yes she says no signal loss even in bad weather.

Mine is via dish. Actually ang problema yun ulap and not really the rain per se.. kahit malakas yun ulan at di naman makapal yun ulap walang problema. Pag maulap, yun lang. Mag netflix ka na lang muna hahaha,

I would recommend the one from PLDT as you do not have to worry about the dish, but you also have to subscribe to their DSL or Fibr Internet. Picture quality is just the same, and the one from PLDT seems not to be that affected by bad weather.

Ako. Switched from Sky to Cignal due to NBA premium and UFC. Halos same picture quality if not better ang Cignal. Plus on Dolby audio on some HD channels and cheaper plans. Negative when it rains heavily, it loses signal. But for only about 10-15mins even if it continues to rain. So far, I'm satisfied.

Fox Movies HD (formerly Fox Movies Premium HD)
Hindi na Asian feed ang ginagamit sa HD channel. Philippine feed na rin sya (kaya puro saksakan ng pinoy TV commercials kahit aa gitna ng movie)

Mukhang nawala na rin ang Dolby 5.1 channel audio dahil dun.

When I inquired with Cignal they explained to me na normal daw ang poor signal when it rains.

yun sa amin sa qc simula kahapon mga 2x pa lang nawawalan pero bumabalik agad yun signal niya.
