Kasama sa last recent bill ko yung advisory about the increase. Though may additional channels naman daw. I think i saw 3-4 channels. Not sure if HD channels siya.

I’m terminating my subscription effective immediately. No more UFC and for NBA, I just got the league pass.

Those two channels are the only ones keeping me from cutting Cignal.

Then yun dating plan 630 naging plan 720 na...

Medyo hassle but, the subscription comes with free access to Fox+ where you can watch the UFC fights. Cast na lang sa TV or if you have an Android box you can load the app there as well.

Yes bro, its installed in my MiBox. Didn't think about it na mawawala Fox+ ko nga pala. Well, its okay. NBA is more important to me Haha.

^i got an email containing the same info over the weekend. so it will be 640+150 na instead of 490+150.

Here's the new channel lineup starting May 1 (i think

) kasi upto now hindi pa din available yung mga nadagdag like Kix HD, History HD etc.

Been a cignal subscriber since 2011 pero after the upcoming pacquiao fight this July 2019, I will give this up already. Wala nang nanunuod ng Cignal sa amin. Nag subscribed na din kse ako ng NBA LEague pass. NBA, Netflix and youtube directly na sa roku stick ko. I might as well just get an EasyTV for the nba premium and local channels for news. So no need for the Cignal na.

Hindi na din sila aggressive to have new hd channels... very seldom na ang pag add nila ng channels...

Im thinking of ditching out cignal after my contract expires...
Halos bihira na ako manood sa cignal...

I might just get Tv plus then for watching news and local shows..
Since most of the time din naman, netflix na ginagamit ko...
I might just add nba league pass for nba...
Im thinking either amazon prime, hooq or fox+ as a supplement for netflix...
Any recommendation among the three whats best supplement?

Saw an announcement that Team USA games in the upcoming FIBA World Cup will be aired live on Cignal | One Sports, starting with pool play (all games at 8:30 pm PH time):

Sunday, Sept 1 - USA v. Czech Republic
Tuesday, Sept 3 - USA v. Turkey
Thursday, Sept 5 - USA v. Japan

The Turkey game (Osman, Ilyasova, Korkmaz) should be a good one. It would also be interesting to see how Japan fares with Hachimura.

Starting oct1, wala na pala btv and nba premium sa lahat ng satellite and cable provider sa philippines...

What is happening to cignal? Unti unti na nawawala mga exclusive channels nila..
nawala na ang mga ito:
Ufc
Fox +
Nba premium
Btv

Wala na ako nakikita advantage nila over skycable... probably just the pba rush but not all susbcriber are hook on to this channel.

Cignal is negotiating directly with NBA for non exclusive deal. Let's see if something materializes asap. Kse ako din i will give up Cignal pag walang NBA Premium channel.

I stopped subscribing to cable providers for about two years already. What I did:

1. Subscribed to Netflix (years ago)
2. Subscribed to NBA League Pass (4,300) that’s only 350 a month.
3. YouTube for my daily dose of videos. Heck even the PBA is shown on YouTube thru ESPN 5.
4. HOOQ - included in my Globe Platinum plan.
5. Spotify Premium
6. Apple Arcade for that kid in me.

Never been happy. Multi screen, multi source.

Looks like i will be ending my almost 6 years subscription with Cignal soon as i do not see the need for it anymore.

Even with their top tier plan with 30 HD channels, there really is nothing worth watching na din talaga.

I might just end up with just a TV Plus for the local channels then everything over the internet na using an Android box or just the Android box na lang.

in my case I have Netflix, NBA League Pass, Sling TV and Pluto TV (via Roku) ... I still have Cablelink for my local channels but will be converting soon to a TV Plus

I requested a temporary disconnection 1mo. Sabi ko no NBA Premium HD = no to Cignal. Although i also have NBA league pass. I still want that NBA premium tv because of the Game Time and other programs. Pero pag di bumalik, ayawan na. Ayoko din nung per game lang like what abs is getting. I want that NBA Premium HD.

^3 months max temporary disconnection ang sabi sa akin when i inquired weeks ago.

Kanina i requested for a downgrade to plan 290 and was told plan 520 lang daw lowest na pwede which pretty much is the same as the legacy plan im on at 600+/month.

Kausapin ko na lang neighbor ko if he wants to continue it himself kasi naka extension lanh siya sa akin.

Currently kasi yung main box binigay ko na sa kanya and i had the extension box disconnected na.

twice i checked, they can't convert mine to a prepaid. need new application daw. can't downgrade either to the lowest postpaid plan.

wala man lang silang retention efforts when i said i am considering cancelling the service na.
