Xage, how's the animation/battle sequences for this game?  Would it be as smooth as that of Tekken?  Or at least as fast paced as the Dragon Ball Z fighting game on the SNES?

Ya, the Dragonball Z Budokai on PS2 is really great.
My favorite move is Goku's Warp Kamehameha and Picolo's beam cannon.
  The story mode is great.

All in all there are 276 US Dubbed DragonballZ Episodes.
Up to now, only up to Episode 272 (Celebrations with Majin Buu *episode after the death of Majin Buu*) are released by Funimation in the US.  The remaining four will be released by March 10, 2003.  Also a remake of Ep. 1-53 is ongoing (since the one being sold are not from Funimation but from Manga Anime Cartoon.

  Funimation will also start dubbing Dragonball GT by mid February.

Great list, lekxxz!    Geez...DBZ is indeed a long series. Out of the 276 episodes, so far I only have collected about 115 (starting from TRUNKS SAGA) After 3 years collecting and that's not even 50% complete yet!!  Not to mention there's the original DB and also the DB GT collection.   Woa..this is indeed a very expensive collection esp if they're in DVD version! haha   Nevertheless, it's a great fun movie for the whole family

I love this series. ilang beses ko na yata natapos to pero di ako mayadong nagsasawa. It even started out as english inchannel 9 before channel 7 tagalized it w/ was fine. I really think that this is the voltes v of the new generation with ghostfighter being daimos.

Unfortunately, it ended its run a couple of months ago. But, don't lose hope. There's a good chance that they will show it again.

Finally saw the DB GT last few episodes including the final chapter. The saga lasted until Goku's grandaughter has grown old & has her own grandaughter! This make Goku as the great great grandfather? 

"...can't help feeling sad at the conclusion of DBGT. 100 years have passed & Goku's grandaughter has grown old. She had a glimpse at her grand father (Goku) in his "young adult" image smiling back hapily at her with content & walking away from the World Martial Art Tournament arena..."

Anybody try out Dragon Ball Kai? If I understand it correctly, it's just a retooling of Dragon Ball Z--re-edited and remastered. I'm wondering if it's just a waste of time to watch if you've already seen Z.

Dragon Ball Kai is an anime series that is an HD Remaster and Recut of Dragon Ball Z done for its 20th Anniversary. It premiered on Fuji TV on April 5th 2009. The series is being extensively "refreshed" for Japanese TV. It is not new animation, but simply a remastering of the original film. Part of this is reformatting and extending the picture to 16:9 Widescreen. Through digital processing, the image is made vibrant. All the grime, damage and noise remaining on the "Z" film is removed, making the image much clearer in HD.

Toei Animation stated that the Dragon Ball Kai episodes would be edited to more closely follow Akira Toriyama's original story in the manga, resulting in a faster moving story, and to remove any damaged frames. Dragon Ball Kai will minimize the filler material produced for Dragon Ball Z's original production run. On the already broadcast episodes, only a few minutes of filler material with no impact to the story have been left in, probably to help the chapter reach its full 20 min. Non-confirmed reports have stated that the series will be cut down from 291 episodes to approximately 100.
