I recently purchase this unit. S0 far so good. Upscaling quality is superb. Very nice all black finished. Everything I throw into it would play decently (even P****ed ones). A very good buy for 3.8K!

nagtanong ako nito kahapon sa Sony - Park Square, sabi nung staff, R3 DVD's lang daw kaya i play nito, sa SM Appliace Center - Makati naman, pwede daw kahit R1.. ang gulo, gusto ko pa naman to kasi ok yung upscaling..

best thing is to bring R1 & R3 dvds and test it in the store before buying.

i bought its bigger brother, the DVP-NS728H at P4.5k coz the USB slot might come in handy.

picture quality is good. my only gripe is that it doesnt have an optical output and gamma settings.
