close decision yung kay benhendo at edgar. couldve gone either way or couldve been a draw. hirap i-judge nun. parang equal na equal e. Edgar should be given another crack at it.

Cerrone and Guillard FTMFW!!! nagkasabunutan kami nung anak ko sa sobrang excitement sa laban! hanep chin ni cowboy talaga! and i like his attitude. just the right amount of cockiness  ;D

last undercard fight knock out was awesome too. fastest KO sa WEC at UFC! hanep mga kabataan ngayon! madami maagang mag r-retire sa sport na ito....

Just like in boxing, to be the champ, you have to beat the champ decisively, open secret na 'yan, hindi pwede basta-basta ibigay ang belt ng ganoon lang, pwera na lang kung may ibang motive 'yung promoter gaya sa Pakyaw vs Bradley  ::)

Ben Henderson did to Frankie Edgar what Frankie Edgar did to BJ Penn, he defeated him twice parang xerox copy 'yung way ng pagkapanalo. BJ Penn to return to the Octagon this December ???

Baka si Bones Jones pa ma-one punch KO ("The H-Bomb, Right Hook) ni Hendo 'pag 'di sya nag ingat.  ;D

sonnen? kakatalo lang niya kay Silva e... walang challenge kay Jones un. may kailangan pa siya patunayan. As for Machida, natalo na ni jones un... kailangan pa niya magpakita ng magandang laban para maconvince si jones na labanan siya.

Machida showed that the last time when he beat Bader. might not be enough, yeah, maybe he should face Gustaffson first and whoever wins fights Jones. or Gustaffson VS Jones na din agad pwede rin.

Chael is Dana's B1@tch thats why he gets all the favors  :P :-X :-*

UFC 152 Fight Card: Jones Vs. Belfort
by Tim Burke on Aug 25, 2012 7:30 PM EDT in UFC Event

What a difference a few days makes. Earlier this week, we were all content with the fact that the flyweights were going to be getting top billing at UFC 152. Then Dan Henderson and Jon Jones blow up the MMA world, and now Jones is facing Vitor Belfort of all people in Toronto on September 22nd. And all of a sudden, this card is pretty stacked. Two title fights, a possible number one contenders bout, and a litany of other potentially explosive matchups makes UFC 152 a can't miss.

Check out the new and improved card below.

Sept 22nd, live on PPV from Toronto, ON:

Main Card:
Jon Jones (16-1) vs. Vitor Belfort (21-9) [LHW title]
Joseph Benavidez (16-2) vs. Demetrious Johnson (15-2-1) [Flyweight title]
Michael Bisping (22-4) vs. Brian Stann (12-4)
Matt Hamill (10-4) vs. Vladimir Matyushenko (26-6)
Evan Dunham (13-2) vs. T.J. Grant (18-5)

Preliminary Card:
Marcus Brimage (5-1) vs. Jim Hettes (10-0)
Igor Pokrajac (25-8) vs. Vinny Magalhaes (9-5, 1 NC)
Charles Oliveira (16-2, 1 NC) vs. Cub Swanson (17-5)
Seth Baczynski (16-6) vs. Simeon Thoresen (17-2-1)
Lance Benoist (6-1) vs. Sean Pierson (12-6)
Mitch Gagnon (8-2) vs. Walel Watson (9-4)
Charlie Brenneman (15-4) vs. Kyle Noke (19-6-1)

Pwede pala 'yun  ???

From Wiki:
On August 23, Dana White announced that Henderson had sustained a partial rupture of his MCL and had withdrawn from the bout. White then announced via press conference that UFC 151 would be the first event in the organization's history to be cancelled, after Jones declined to fight Chael Sonnen, who agreed to take the fight on eight days' notice. Initially, White announced that Jones would defend his title against Lyoto Machida at UFC 152 and that UFC 151 simply will not take place. Later, it was reported that Machida declined to fight Jones. The promotion announced that former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Vitor Belfort will challenge Jon Jones at UFC 152.

"UFC 151 will be remembered as the event Jon Jones and Greg Jackson murdered."
-Dana White.

Initial reports indicated that UFC 152, scheduled to take place three weeks later, would be renamed UFC 151. However, Zuffa announced that UFC 152 would keep its name and UFC 151 would officially be deemed a "lost show."

Dana White blamed the cancellation on Jones and his coach, Greg Jackson, who advised him that accepting the fight with Sonnen on short notice would be the "biggest mistake of [his] entire career." Some MMA analysts, however, see the UFC at fault for creating thin cards. With fights occurring nearly every weekend, the pool of fighters available as substitutes when injuries occur is shallow. CBS Sports columnist Gregg Doyel argued Dana White's mishandling of UFC 151 proved that UFC competitors need a union, stating: "...fights fall through all the time -- the flimsy card fell apart. This was the UFC's fault. This was UFC president Dana White's fault...".

Henderson was injured three weeks prior to the cancellation, but kept the injury under wraps so he would not get bumped from the fight.

...So instead na 'yung UFC 152 gawing UFC 151, yung UFC 151 will be abandoned, ang gulo, sana nag adjust na lang sila.  ???  ;D

UFC: St-Pierre vs. Silva super fight expected at 180 pounds, in Cowboys Stadium
If UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre (22-2 MMA, 16-2 UFC) returns from a 19-month injury layoff and can defeat interim titleholder Carlos Condit (28-5 MMA, 5-1 UFC) during an expected UFC 154 clash in November, one of the biggest fights in UFC history could be up next.

As expected, UFC President Dana White said it'll be against middleweight champion Anderson Silva (32-4 MMA, 15-0 UFC).

Anderson Silva vs. Stephan Bonnar headlines UFC 153
With his career winding down, Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Stephan Bonnar has been begging for a big fight. Now he's got it.

USA TODAY Sports has confirmed UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva (32-4, 15-0) is moving up to 205 pounds to meet Bonnar (147-7 MMA, 8-6 UFC) in the main event of October's UFC 153 event, which takes place Oct. 13 in Rio de Janeiro.

Brazilian slugger Glover Teixeira (18-2, 1-0) will meet countryman Fabio Maldonado (18-5, 1-2) in the evening's co-main event. And in a bout first reported by Brazilian outlet Tatame, former interim heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (33-7-1, 4-3) will face Dave Herman (21-4, 1-2).

The additions to the card were prompted when featherweight champ Jose Aldo and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson withdrew with injuries. Aldo's opponent, former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar, now will be rescheduled for a later date, while Teixeira, who was expected to face Jackson, now draws Maldonado.

Vitor Belfort was submitted by Jon "Bones" Jones via americana in the 4th round, but Belfort damaged Jones' right elbow from an armbar in the 1st round.

I don't know what was the game plan of Belfort, i thought he would go toe to toe with Jones, but he chooses to pull guard on the ground most of the time. Siguro kala nya mauulit nya 'yun arm bar na ginawa nya nun 1st round, well he almost  pulled an upset when he got that armbar, but Jones refused to tap.

"Bones Knows"  :)

I noticed the Philippine Flag on the background of Batista's corner.

Late bloomer din si Batista, at the age of 43 years old lang sya nag debut sa MMA.  ???

"The Animal" is clearly not a UFC caliber fighter, well at least he is proving na kaya din ng mga katulad nya sa Pro Wrestling na makipagsabayan sa totoong laban. Sayang 'di nya ginamit  'yung move na "Batista Bomb".
