tagal na dapat yan..unfortunately natalo kasi si idol pettis ni guida the first time na pumasok sya sa UFC coming as an ex champ in WEC

Si Pettis daw should first climb the ladder to earn a title shot against him. Pero may assurance na si Dana White na makakalaban ni Pettis kung sino man ang manalo sa labang Bendo vs Gilbert Melendez this April.

with pettis' string of awesome performances with top notch opponent, i guess he is more deserving of a title shot that melendez. just because of that stupid theme "strikeforce vs ufc" that melendez got his shot at the belt.

Alistair Overeem vs. Antonio Silva

though i was rooting for overeem in his fight, im kinda happy how the fight turned out. alistair needs some rude awakening that its not always a walk in the park for him in the ufc. he is so disrespectul of bigfoots stand up and seems bent on making a statement win but it kinda backfired on him. maybe being cocky is the foremost core of team blackzillians.

big win for Bigfoot.ganda ng panalo nya.shuts Overroids mouth. Aldo slowed down after round 2. di nya na sinundan yung mga killer kicks nya. sabi he was anticipating daw yung pag take down.

I saw the fight between Overeem and Silva, bago umalis ng bahay kanina.

It's either Alistair is over confident, he under estimated Big Foot or Alistair doesn't do well when he is not on PEDs... or a combination of both :-[

Will watch the replay of Little Nog vs Evans and Aldo vs Edgar later.  ;)

I think Overeem does not have the gas tank... not used to fighting 3 rounds... 11 out of his last 12 fights ended in the 1st round.

Time for Overeem to step up his game and show that he can handle the big boys.

In the postfight press conference at UFC 156, Dana White mentioned that Pettis is interested to move down to 145 to fight Aldo. Aldo vs Pettis would be a damn good fight if ever it pushes through.

Hindi naman siguro bibitawan ng UFC si Frankie Edgar, you could here from the background of his fight with Aldo, people were chanting Edgar's name, madami pa din syang fans. Now Edgar has to start again from scratch.

thats true malakas hatak pa din ni edgar and the big boss' of ufc likes people who is not afraid to bang! yun pa din kasi ang hinahanap ng mga fans. look at dan hardy 3 straight losses  pero di pa din tinanggal and also duane ludwig.  amd technically, this is only the first loss of edgar at featherweight.   ^-^

May I add, Brandon "The Truth" Vera  :(

Ang gusto kasi ni Dana White, okey lang na matalo, pero dapat bigay-todo kung lumalaban...at may hatak pa din sa fans, sayang kasi $$$ from the fans.  ;D

Wish granted!  ^-^

Anthony Pettis dropping to 145 to fight champion Jose Aldo on Aug. 3

Two of the most dynamic strikers in all of mixed martial arts will meet Aug. 3 as Anthony Pettis is dropping from lightweight to 145 pounds to challenge current champion Jose Aldo for the UFC featherweight title.

"Two of the baddest dudes in the fight business are going to fight at 145 pounds," said UFC president Dana White. "These guys are two of the most amazing, gravity-defying athletes in the sport. I am so pumped for this fight."

White said the company currently is seeking a venue for the as-yet-unannounced event and that sites in Texas, Chicago, Las Vegas and Rio de Janeiro are all under consideration. Aldo vs. Pettis is expected to headline the card.
