new plan is to get sidewinder 3 which i think can do 3D playback. anyone owns prodigy? does the DVB-T works here in philippines via internet connection?

Sir Raptor, is it just ok to use the Sidewinder 3 for watching 2D movies? I am planning to acquire one because I may be able to have a 3D TV in a few months' time. Habang wala pa ang TV syempre gagamitin muna for 2D movies.

yup it's ok, most people use it for 2D movies ... the 3D feature is just an add-on, which is a nice to have, but 3D movies are still novelties at this point

One other thing kasi is mayroon siyang USB 2and3 to future proof. The HDMI 1.4 di ba backwards compatible naman Sir Raptor? I think this Sidewinder 3 will already satisfy my meeds. Thanks

i bought xtreamer elvira yesterday, kaso kapag sinet ko sya sa 1080p 50hz or 60hz, nagbblank ung screen ko..im using chimei 23lh..dati nman sa measy ko nkakapanood ako using 1080p 50hz..any thoughts?

Probably try to test it on another tv with 1080p? Are you using the latest firmware?

I have 2 Xtreamers (Mk1 and Sidewinder) both of them have this issue when you watch an SD video after watching an HD video it will hang after a few seconds. Its still responsive so you can exit and access the menus but if you try to play another SD video it will again hand. You have to turn it on and off to fix it.

Anyone els have this issue? Know of a fix?

best way to isolate is to upgrade the firmware to the latest version

Please help... Ang Xtreamer ko 1st generation ayaw na mag upgrade ng firmware last update ko ay 2.5.1,
1. ayaw mag play ng medyo malaking files na - nag play naman sa PC ko using KMP
2. bigla na lang nag stop at nag exit sa main menu
3. try ko mag upgrade ng firmware pero ayaw na at sabi mag bawas ng file coz puno na ang target.. e wala naman akong internal HDD, puro external, at save namn ang firmware sa USB...

suggestion please mga bros

firmware upgrade through USB may not work if your thumb drive is more than 2gb in capacity, try using a smaller capacity drive ... this is mentioned on their site and i experienced it when using an 8gb thumb drive

Sir stockHT I was able to try my mk1 play 3d movies using a pana 42st30. Kayang kaya sir except for the subtitle which remained in the middle, became big and double.

Guys i tried to buy a wifi dongle(cdrking)for my mk1 but during the cofiguration it says it can't find ssid, does it mean it's not compatible the xtreamer? Thanks guys

salamat sir Raptor, na upgrade ko firmware 2.5.4 kahapon at nagplay na lahat na movie files....

Can anyone help with streaming files on the computer to xtreamer pro? Im tired of copying and pasting files from my comp hard drive to the xtreamer hard drive just to watch on the tv.

I have NAS on but not sure what else to do.

Check if your xtreamer supports Samba, UPNP or DNLA. If it does all you need is download the and run the server sa computer mo and your xtreamer should be able to find it. If 1080p ang mga files, i suggest wired networking.. Hit and miss ang wireless kahit pa naka N ka na wifi..

I just got a xtreamer Prodigy and I'm having an issue with the audio. Its connceted to my receiver via optical. In the xtreamers settings for SPDIF out there are only two options 2.1 or 5.1. If I set it to 5.1 only movies with DD or DTS have sound, files with stereo sound dont have any sound unless I manually change the setting to 2.1. If I set it to 2.1 I dont get the discreet multichannel for my MKVs so thats no good.

My old xtreamer sidewinder and Mk1 dont have this problem, it passes either audio stream to my receiver. Is this a limitation of the Prodigy?

Also is the prodigy UI really slow compared to the Mk1, I was expecting that the faster chip would mean a better UI speed.

prodigy din gmit ko pero so far ok nman audio ko yung auto detect ang format ng audio kahit ano iplay. Pinagka iba lng ntin eh hdmi connection ko.

just got a sidewinder 3 to upgrade my sidewinder 1. GUI is better but one thing I don't like is that there is no more dedicated menu for the etrayz. had to create a short cut under network in order to access my files.

anybody know of way to create a favorites link in the sw3 for the etrayz. the support forum is notoriously biased against such questions.

I run fine with 15 meters to the PJ, invest ka sa cable quality para walang ghosting na maiinis ka lang.

Nagtry ako dati placing it inside pero di niya nababasa. Pero sa labas using a dock with 3tb compatibility nabasa niya. Using 2.7 nun.
