I believe you are selling your SVS 12 inch sub, why not use 2 of them instead of upgrading to a single SVS pb13? Unless you are planning to have 2 pb13s?

My 2 cents

The remaining 1% is the 2nd SVS PB12-NSD? That's actually a pretty good idea. A 2nd 12" sub will give you a flatter (or tighter) response, while a single 13" sub will give you a slightly deeper bass. Between the 2 options, I'd choose the flatter response.

You need to locate them equidistant from your main listening position, which means that you'll probably just put the 2nd one to the right of the center speaker.

Make sure that they have the same volume level at the rear. Set phase to 0 for both. Disable the Low Pass Filter at the rear of the sub. Run Audyssey again for just a single measuring point. If the Sub trim is -12 db, lower the volume of the subs even more until the sub trim recommended by Audyssey is at most -10 db.

After that, you can experiment by moving the subs closer to the corner and see what you prefer.

I also suggest you try to put your 2 front speakers a bit away from the side wall and a bit more forward. I think the frequency response will also become flatter. Same with the center channel - you can move it slightly forward and make sure that the tweeter is pointed at your ears when you are at the main listening position, else, lagyan mo ng kalso ang stand. Experiment ka lang. Even small changes (8" to a foot) can make a big difference.

Good luck!

Actually nakuha ko na yesterday yung 2nd pb12nsd.  Tested it without calibration. I must say I'm very very satisfied.  Now i can't hear the LFE anymore i just feel it literally. I can feel my couch being shot by bullets and shotguns. It's like you're where the action is. I can feel my pants moving. Got to thank Alvin Jambam and you for the suggestions. Anyway gonna calibrate it again tonight

Great ... but it will get better as you set it up properly, especially making sure that the volumes match and their trim is below -12 db. There's a lot of experimentation that you can do with the sub location (as well as the other speakers), together with Audyssey calibration.

With regard to the frequency response of the other speakers, Audyssey provides you a chart which shows the filter that it is applying. If a new speaker location results in lower peaks or dips, that location is better in principle. Just memorize or take a pic of the chart before you re-run Audyssey.

By the way, it is very important to make sure that all your speakers are set to "Small" and LFE is set to "LFE" only, not "LFE+Main." Set the crossovers of the speakers to at least the next higher frequency than that which is recommended. Remember that the Audyssey filters for the subwoofers are much more than the ordinary speakers so its better to pass on more of the audio to the subs (to a max of maybe 110 hz).
