40s81 goes for 95T at Western Pasay Road. Stocks arrived this morning and I will try to pick it up by tomorrow afternoon.

Though I am having second thoughts... is 3 more inches and less features worth the extra 16 grand?

pero pag western... at 27% off. di sa nagdodoubt ako ha.. pero panigurado lang, baka kaya niyo Ice or Miks iverify kung display unit ba yun? pero kahit display unit.... pwede na! tutal bagong labas lang, baka sandali pa lang naka display yun. tingin ko, oks pa rin.    kung brand new talaga. good deal yun. I am hoping na totoo nga na ganon at may maibenta sila at that price. para maiconsider din sila as another option for the next group buy.

Not display unit daw and tinabi na nila for me as of today. grabe I waited over two weeks for this TV set!

Samsung:
             basic discount rule               modified discount rule
32inch:
32s81b = 60 *.8 = 48k                         (60-5) *.8 = 44k
32r81b = 70 *.8 = 56k                         (70-5) *.8 = 52k

37 inch
37r81b = 100k *8 = 80k                       (100-5) *.8 = 76k

40 inch
40s81 = 130 *8 = 104k                       (130-20) *.8 = 88k
40r81 = 150 *8 = 120k                       (150-20) *.8 = 96k

modified discount rule is taking in the "promotional" discount then applying 20% cash/check discount.
our target price should be anywhere from regular 20% discounted price up to the modified discounted price.. as that price should be retailer's threshold.

I'd like to know where you can get the 40s81 for 88T. That's cheaper than Singapore price by 1,500.

Grabe reading all 10 pages of this thread gave me a major headache. Tulog na ako and I'll pass by Ansons Makati by tomorrow. Saan yung Ansons Makati ulit? Sa ParkSquare 1 ba?

Are you guys still planning a group buy, or are you all going individually already? I think I can help facilitate a good price for a group purchase on any brand.

If ever you're still doing a group buy, can you give me a head count on what model/make you guys are getting? Is the one on the first post on this thread still accurate? If you're all on a similar brand at least, it'll be easier to negotiate directly with the distributor themselves, to get the best possible price for the brand. Price will definitely go lower the more people get the same brand, as you all clearly know already.

Please let me know by this thread or by PM. If you can all confirm with me by Thursday, I can probably get a good price quotation for you before the weekend.

im guessing we have a bout 2-3 37 inch buyers and another 2-3 32 inch buyers.
everyone is kinda mixed on models that they want though unlike the previous group buy

(3) Sharp Aquos 37PX5M (84k cash)

This is their latest SRP.. to be exact its P99,998 on all stores... best price for cash would be 80-85k w/o free dvd players.

naka PC input na siya using VGA port. I dont use component cables for the simple reason I do not want the LCD TV to scale.

Will try to show the LCD TV in action with a personal computer driving it.

You can always upload your video review on youtube...haha just kidding, pero I think that those who have spare time could do some video reviews..ala cnet na tayong mga Pinoydvd.
