As per this thread, the first movie is still fullscreen, even if the case says otherwise.  Be warned:

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs 3D (1 Disc / Amaray in slipcase / 4 pairs green & pink glasses / Viva - 20th Century Fox)

That's ridiculous, not the movie (I love the movie), but the edition. Why release it ng P750?! It's not like the movie just came out last July, it came out July LAST YEAR. And what's with the pink-green 3D? A lot of people will just steer away from that release and but the non-3D one, which is on sale for around P350-P600, some stores selling it for Buy 1 Take 1.

And what's with the pink-green 3D?

I think not all anaglyph 3D glasses are exclusive to red/blue ones.

Pink-Green anaglyph 3D is SO much better and less eye-straining than Red-Blue.

House Season 5

It would have been better if Viva released the sixth season, since Season 5 had already been released (then heavily discounted) just before Magnavision loses the Universal license.  The upside, is that it shows that Viva will continue releasing the Universal TV properties...

Avatar Extended Collector's Edition Steelbook 3-Discs
Php 999
20th Century Fox/Viva

Knight and Day: Extended Edition
Php 750
20th Century Fox/Viva

The Expendables

Confirmed as FULL SCREEN DVD-5. (Mr. Hankey's note: What a waste. The picture quality is actually excellent, unlike most of Viva's Full Screen DVD-5 releases. I wonder where they even got the 4x3 master of this from, in this day and age.)

Php 475
Viva
A few comes with free T-Shirt, but since Viva usually priced these DVD5s at Php 375. More or less, the T-shirt is priced-in already...  :(

Pink-green 3D is Okay. I have the Monsters vs Aliens short on DVD and it has that.

WHAT I MEANT IS....why release that edition. It's pointless. Yeah sure they're for kids, but why release NOW? And at P750 you could buy another new release, not a year-old movie that's been rereleased. The first edition is already on sale. That was stupid of Fox and Viva.
I'm okay with the pink-green 3D. It's just the 3D release is stupid. That's my point.

a. I personally thought the Pink-Green of "Bob's Big Break" wasn't done well.

b. Fox-Viva just followed what their parent company Fox did in the US. The non-3D version of the film was released on R1 DVD on October 27, 2009 at a retail price of $19.98. The 3D version was released September 21, 2010 at a retail price of $29.98.

Nearly a one-year-gap. I personally think it's still stupid of Fox, and stupid of Viva to follow. Yung Diary of a Wimpy Kid nga at saka Ramona and Beezus wala pa rin.

Actually, it's wise for the movie studios.  Since they get your money twice.  It's an age-old tactic, just as Avatar's first release is barebones, now comes the Extended Edition with all the features, and maybe a year or two later - the 3D version (or this December if you buy a Panasonic 3D Bluray Player).

Well, now that you pointed it out, I agree.

Ayoko na bilhin yung 3-Disc DVD ng AVATAR. Hinati pa pala nila yung mga versions sa Disc 1 at Disc 2.  The movie was okay, maybe a bit overhyped, but it was good, just not my type of movie. I'm okay with my barebones, because all I want to see is the movie, and the theatrical version only.
