guys, repost ko lang po.. salamat po sa mga magrereply.. :)

hello po.. its been awhile since i last posted here sa thread.. my last post as far as i can remember was when i asked for an advise if ill be getting this units:

22 inch AOC LCD Monitor
q6600 intel quadcore 2.4ghs for every core
geforce 9600gt 1ghz
2gb ddr2 RAM
gigabyte motherboard
320 sata drive
HEX Power Supply

for 20k, which I did but we settled 25.. now, balak ko na sya ibenta.. i will be including an original OS (Windows Vista Home Premium), additional 2g DDR2 RAM and an external DVD writer. mga magkano ko po kaya sya pwede ibenta? I settled with E-great nalang kasi and I'm planing to buy a laptop nalang to free-up space sa room. actually nanghihinayang din akong ibenta pero gusto ko talagang maglaptop nalang eh since di ko naman namamaximize yung power nya for gaming, since may ps3 naman ako and more on browsing/downloading lang, or as HTPC..
thanks po sa magiging inputs. Wink
check tipidpc.com para magka-idea ka kung magkano presyo nyan ngayon.
btw for 20k pwede na, pero di parin murang-mura  ;)

OS is Vista, i will try to tweak the special sauce further this weekend using the guide from project htpc.

there must be conflict somewhere, 1080p's video is delayed

64bit with 4gb of ram or 32bit with 2gb ram?
with this concern i believe it would be better to run in classic mode first.  add page file.
effecient naman yung sauce natin so dapat gumana .. :)

I can't tell if its the 32bit or 64bit, it has a 3gb ram pre installed(?), unit was purchased overseas
I will try it tonight.  what value should be ideal for page file size for my purpose?

Thanks ninj  :)

I've confirmed this Tosh unit is running on a 32-bit Vista SP2, Turion X2 2.0Ghz with 3gb ram

1.  Initially I've removed CoreAVC, re-installed & tweaked using the guide from Project HTPC.
2.  Disabled Windows Aero, used windows classic ~ (flawless 1080p) improved overall performance
3.  Reverted to VISTA Basic ~ seems to be flawless also in my limited testing
4.  Did not change pagefile yet

Thanks to all who contributed  ;D

Your HD4770 has integrated audio controller, so plug and play lang dapat via the HD4770's HDMI ang sound solution.  You just have to tweak CCC to your preferred audio settings.

the Powercolor 4770 i have has 2 dvi's only, no hdmi. there's an DVI-HDMI adapter though, will it transmit audio also?

Uy pareng Dowals, mukha ngang may kakayahan ang ating series 4 na ATI cards to output audio via DVI.   Your card came with that ATI DVI-HDMI converter right?

Mapaglaruan nga sa bakasyon.   ;D

bro Clondalkin, found this limited discussion on the 4770's HDMI audio capabilities, I get a cable tomorrow and test.

4770 HDMI Audio

kaya lang there's an ATI Audio driver? parang the driver CD doesn't have that

Check ATI's site.  Im currently reading some reports that they simply used the ATI adapter, then enabled/set HDMI audio within CCC.   Baka makuha sa simpleng kapa-kapa sa CCC.  Please try.

check the adapters revision/version.  newer adapters should output audio via dvi/hdmi  :)

pending my purchase of an hdmi cable, i hooked up the nVidia desktop to the LGTV via vga-dvi adapter, worked fine, 1360 x768 resolution

however, im getting "invalid input" for the ATI Desktop, will work up to 40 secs to a minute after boot up, then screen blacks out. used the same vga-dvi adapter that work with the first desktop. what did i do wrong kaya?

Bro, sa CCC you normally dont see the setting option for a particular connector unless you actually connect it.  Your ATI would detect the connection and then present you the "new/added" options within CCC.  That's how my ATI cards work.

yeah lower everything else including the resolution.  then raise it slowly, leave the refresh rate at 50hz.

Hey guys, I need help on some parts sa binubuo kong HTPC

1. Cheapest "cube" case. Anong mai-recommend niyo dito? Parang maganda yung astone sff(I have an mATX board btw) though proprietary ata yung PSU and medyo mahina for my taste, so sayang naman PSU ko.

2. Soundcard that has optical out. Coax out lang kasi yung built-in sa mobo ko. Asus Xonar U1 or Turtle Beach Riviera sana kaso wala naman ata available locally. Another option would be a coax-optical converter, which isn't available locally too.

3. Remote for Windows Media Center/XBMC/MediaPortal. I'm eyeing for the cdrking remote though I'm not sure kung gagana ng maayos kapag nakabili na ako ng Harmony. Or isa pang option ko dito is using the Wii Remote connected to the PC using bluetooth.

Well that's pretty much it.
