He's probably not getting a sharp picture because the TV is cropping the input, and he underscanned to compensate for this. This causes image distortion and lost screen information.

I also set my PJ with 110 screen and LG scarlet 32 pero ok na ok naman ang image same sattings as above ang ginawa ko.

If you kept the underscan to 0%, then your screen is not overscanning. If you had to set it to underscan, then you're losing information. This obviously bothers some more than others.

Tried the 4-4-4 but it's still the same.

I lowered down my resolution to 1680x1050 and it looked great compared to the 1080p. And the color is just right. Unlike the 1080p which is I think sobrang high ng contrast.

Switch underscan to 0%, then see if the picture fills your screen. If it does not, your TV is probably not properly setup.

Next thing to check:
Is your PC connected through your AV receiver? If so, try to disable video processing in your AVR to see if that helps.

If 1680x1050 lang gamit kong resolution, disabled po yung underscan/overscan (scaling options). When I set it back to 1080p and set the scaling option to 0 (overscan), hindi ma kasya sa tv yung resolution. Hindi ko po makita yung task bar..

Paano po i-setup yung TV to make this work properly? :(

Your TV is not set properly. Follow what joko mentioned, if it's available in your TV. Different TVs have different settings.

Naka set lang po to 16:9 ang tv ko... Then if I change the scaling to 0, hindi makita yung task bar.

And if meron ako i-open (chrome) mag dark yung tv.. Parang nahihirapan syang mag adjust sa brightness.. Pero pag 1680x1050 lang, di sya ganon.. :(

I think this one worked for me... "Screen Fit" yung name sa mode ng TV ko... Hehehe. Thanks sir. Na sakto na po yung 1920x1080 na resolution..

Regarding sa brightness/contrast issue, I manually set it nalang to get my desired result.. Also, I've set the sharpness from 50+ to 0 to make the text more clearer. I think I solved my problem na. :)

Thanks po sa tulong mga sir! I really appreciate it.

Congrats. That's what they use for newer Samsungs, I think.

Now it's upto you if you want to do the input renaming to get true YCbCr 4:4:4 (or if you'd stick with RGB).

Thanks po. I'll stick with the default, which is RGB true color...

Notebooks perform almost as well as dedicated desktops for movie playback purposes, except for the relative lack of expansion options. The Y480 is now available, if you're buying new.

Mga brader, question lang... i dont know if it was discussed before pero tanong ko na rin...

I bought an ITX motherboard (ECS H67H2-I) that i might use to setup a simple HTPC, now here's my problem... the available SATA slot/port is for hardisks with SATA 3gb/s and 6gb/s only and almost all of my available hardisks are SATA 1.5gb/s... will they still work? may mga issues ba ako mae-encounter, minor or major? how about my SATA DVD Writer, is it ok to connect my DVD Writer on those slots available in my motherboard?

And one more thing pala, whats the best HTPC Casing for an ITX board na kakasya ang ordinary-sized power supply, worth not more than 2.5K?

Thanks a lot in Advance :)

Don't worry, it should work just fine.

Both are okay, but I prefer Gigabyte. Get a pair of DDR3-1866 DIMMs if possible, to maximize memory bandwidth (as it helps the on-chip GPU quite a bit).

As long as you enable GPU acceleration and don't apply too much post-processing, BD 3D should be easy for the A6.

will be able to play 3d with out separate VC?

pc lang din talaga to sa bahay pero kapag nakapagupgrade na sa AVR na 3d and tv then ok na...

Hello po!

Pwede ba gamitan ng HDMI adapter yung HD4850 video card ko? It has only 2 DVI outs and 1 S-Video. Walang HDMI... Meron kaya audio pag gamitan ng adapter?

Thanks po.

Yes, for the most part. Depende din yan sa 3D format na iplay mo and sa player/codec mo if nag-utilize ng DXVA. Most major formats (like mga BD) are supported with the right player.

Those that are not supported are also not supported by stand-alone video cards, for the most part. Kaya maski mag dedicated video ka sa mga formats na yun eh konti lang din ang tulong.

ati hd series does not require SPDIF, so ideally with the correct dvi to hdmi adapter it SHOULD work.
just change the settings on your playback device to hdmi instead of speakers.

Yes, pwede gamitan. Did your board come with an adapter? One digital out of the HD4850 can often carry sound when used with the right adapter. It can even bitstream HD audio formats in some cases, pero at a limited bitrate lang. You can send multi-channel PCM data instead, if you'd like to work around this limitation. Pero kung hassle-free at full quality HD Audio ang habol mo, consider upgrading your graphics adapter.

You need a separate VC for 3D viewing lalo na pag GPU ang gagamitin and for now ok pa yan setup na yan for remux 1080p even i haven't use that setup.  ;D ;D ;D
