Exciting! BTW, if you are playing BDs, di na kelangan ng AnyDVD HD to remove region coding?

Ou di na need kasi you can change the region coding anytime sa dvdfab even cinavia protection bypass. BTW my software ako na pang region changer para kahit ano region ng play mo powerdvd, TMT and windvd puwede ka mag change ng region sa 3 na bluray player. YGPM again..  >:D >:D

I've been trying to find answers but came up with nothing that will help. so I hope someone can point me to the thread or help me out.

I have a Yamaha 671 that i want to connect my pc via HDMI. right now i'm using PS3 and the pc as a media server because when i plug in the pc to the receiver there is no video. (I used to plug it directly to the TV then use analog connections to the old receiver) I know that the cable is fine because when i connect directly to the TV it's fine. But when using the receiver is just black. Even the yamaha gui is not showing. I'm using an old i5-760 with ATI 5850.

thanks.

Anyone here having trouble using a receiver with their HTPC?

When I hook up my HTPC to my TV it gets detected just fine. But when I hook up my TV to receiver then to the HTPC the TV doesn't get detected. I've checked all inputs and checked all cables and they're all sound. I hope you guys can help me.

Here's my setup.
GPU: GTX 550Ti
Receiver: Yamaha RX-V373
TV: Sony TV (forgot the model)

Did you attach your TV to the HDMI Out of the receiver and the HTPC to one of the HDMI inputs of your receiver? Did you try using another source like a DVD/BD player or NMT to your receiver just to check if the HDMI inputs work?

Note: make sure the TV and the receiver are turned on first (the TV on the right input source like HDMI 1 and the receiver also on the right HDMI source) before turning on your HTPC.

Yup. All my devices hooked up work fine. Only the HTPC doesn't. I've swapped inputs with each other as well but no dice.

Gumagana sya pag nakadirekta sa TV. Pag nakakabit lang sa receiver ayaw marecognise ang TV.

Your motherboard is not friendly to such alterations. It has to be modified to support this. It'd be a lot simpler to just run it in stock form.

Thanks for the reply Stagea :)
One quick question tho, when u say "it has to be modified to support this" do u mean as in a physical modification or modifying something in the bios settings?

Either physical mod or palit BIOS. Both are risky for a first timer.

Check mo din baka iba na yung latest BIOS flash nya at may features na. Pero yung mga lumang BIOS ng board model mo wala talagang tweaking options.
