Exciting! BTW, if you are playing BDs, di na kelangan ng AnyDVD HD to remove region coding?

I've been trying to find answers but came up with nothing that will help. so I hope someone can point me to the thread or help me out. I have a Yamaha 671 that i want to connect my pc via HDMI. right now i'm using PS3 and the pc as a media server because when i plug in the pc to the receiver there is no video. (I used to plug it directly to the TV then use analog connections to the old receiver) I know that the cable is fine because when i connect directly to the TV it's fine. But when using the receiver is just black. Even the yamaha gui is not showing. I'm using an old i5-760 with ATI 5850.thanks.
Have you tested connecting the pc to the TV? Sa tingin mo may problema yamaha mo.
Anyone here having trouble using a receiver with their HTPC? When I hook up my HTPC to my TV it gets detected just fine. But when I hook up my TV to receiver then to the HTPC the TV doesn't get detected. I've checked all inputs and checked all cables and they're all sound. I hope you guys can help me.Here's my setup.GPU: GTX 550TiReceiver: Yamaha RX-V373TV: Sony TV (forgot the model)
Have you check if you choose the right input ie hdmi 1 since dun nakalagay ung TV mo.
Yup. Wala pa rin.
Did you attach your TV to the HDMI Out of the receiver and the HTPC to one of the HDMI inputs of your receiver? Did you try using another source like a DVD/BD player or NMT to your receiver just to check if the HDMI inputs work?Note: make sure the TV and the receiver are turned on first (the TV on the right input source like HDMI 1 and the receiver also on the right HDMI source) before turning on your HTPC.
Yup. All my devices hooked up work fine. Only the HTPC doesn't. I've swapped inputs with each other as well but no dice.
YUng motherboard mo ba may onboard na HDMI? If yes pa try naman nung onboard HDMI co check if video card issue.
Can any of u guys here share a guide/walkthru on how to properly undervolt/underclock a cpu?? I have an old pentium4 3.06ht with a D865GSA mobo layin around and i plan to turn this into a torrent rig with a relatively lower power consumption than at stock.
Your motherboard is not friendly to such alterations. It has to be modified to support this. It'd be a lot simpler to just run it in stock form.
Thanks for the reply Stagea One quick question tho, when u say "it has to be modified to support this" do u mean as in a physical modification or modifying something in the bios settings?
Guys another noob question...whats the common o/s do you install on your htpc rig? Windows 7? 8? Vista? Does 32 or 64 bit matter on an htpc? Plan to do some light gaming as well on the htpc
Thanks again guys for the quick reply. Checked the prices of win7 pro 64 nasa 6k+ vs win8 oem 64 nasa 4k+, is it correct mas mahal ang win7? Di rin pala biro mag setup ng htpc in terms of price especially if you go the mini itx route
