Fewer and fewer DVD players which have a complete display. What I mean to say is many DVD players, generic and even some of the branded ones, display only the time elapsed on the DVD but does not show you what chapter you're on or track number if you're playing. Unless you have memorized all the contents of all your CD's, there's no telling whether you've clicked on the next track button the correct number of times to get to that favorite song of yours in the CD on the DVD player.
That's why I got the Konzert K362 over a year ago. While I don't use the karaoke function at all, it tells me what track the CD or what chapter the DVD is playing. It also reads DivX, JPEG, MP3, MP4 via USB.
According to the salesperson, there is DTS and the usual Dolby Digital on this unit. No HDMI though. It does have a sub out and the 5 channel out for connection to a receiver/amp or DVD-ready TV
