After reading about Doc River's complaints, I kinda lost respect for him. Unlike Alvin Gentry of the Phoenix Suns who always showed a lot of class during his interviews, his interview especially after the 3rd game was biased and self serving.

Also, did anybody catch Rondo's fouls on the last two replays involving Odom, I think the referees now regret having replayed them at all. I think they will be watch Rondo more closely now.

I think the Celtics will start using their bullyball tactics tomorrow and try to dare the referees to call fouls on them especially how Doc is trying to work the referees.

Oh you haven't seen anything.  Try to watch Phil's.  He does it in every round and in every game.

I think it was Jackson who first brought up (before this series began) how aggressive and rugged the Celtics defense is.. that's why I think the refs are calling it tight now to the point of becoming too trigger happy at times.

I remember he did the same to Nash before the Western Conf. Finals when he commented on the dribbling of Nash.. saying that it is illegal bla. bla.. bla..

That's just how Jackson works.. playing mind games is his expertise.

Also his comments on kevin durant getting tons of foul and free throws.  Mind games yan ni zen master, and it really works.

Bah! Coach and players complaining of officiating isn't really new. Coaches especially like to work their mouth off to media regarding officiating. It's their way of letting the zebras know what to look for and Phil is a master of that. He not only gets in the head of referees, but opposing (and sometimes, even his own) players as well. Heck, he likes taking a stab at the fans as well. Hehehe. But at the end of the day, it's how a team plays that really decides the game.

I hope the Lakers win tonight. I think they would loosen up with the advantage that they currently have and pound the celts offensively.

Lakers in 6.  :D

Another bad call from the ref. It's becoming a trend in this series. Don't you think the refs are becoming very sensitive? Lalo na yung mga pasigaw-sigaw ng mga players na kala mo nasaktan talaga pero hangin lang naman.  :) A good example is that play by Gasol. Hindi man lang hinawakan ni Rasheed si Gasol dun.  ???

Refs are guilty of anticipating the contact.  But you can't do anything but adjust and just play the game.

perhaps the "rasheed wallace impression" contributed to that too.

Superb game by the Celtics bench. Krypto-Nate and the Ticket Stub to the rescue.

Got the momentum back, now its time to seize control of the series with a win in Game 5.

The Celtics bench won the game. They took advantage of the normal lousy play of the Lakers at the start of the 4th quarter. PJ shouldn't play Farmar or Shannon Brown during that time.

Big 3 +1 did not have a big game.. and as expected, Kobe had a good shooting night hitting 6 of 10 treys..

But who would have thought that the 2nd team of the Celtics will defeat LA's 1st team in the 4thQtr?..  ;D ;D

A big psychological boost for the Celtics going into Game 5..  ;D

YEEAHHH!!!!  ;D ;D ;D

Excellent execution down the stretch by the Celtics. Their bench really stepped up and gave them the big push in the 4th quarter. David Stern must be smiling now at the possibility of a full seven game Finals. Momentumm it would seem, is really a non-factor in this series so far.

Quote from Coach Doc Rivers:

“… It was great, you know. That’s the loudest I’ve seen our bench, the starters cheering from the bench. It was terrific.”

A great sight indeed.. but you don't want to be doing this each game against the Lakers.. coz I'm sure they'll make the necessary adjustments..

But I wonder why the Lakers seem to be having problems playing against opponents 2nd team from the bench.. remember the West Conf. Finals against the Phoenix Suns... same thing happened over and over again.. ;D

This is a good sign/trend for the Celtics..  ;D

Good thing Monday's a holiday. I'll finally get to watch a game live. Had to survive on ESPN radio for the past 4 games.
