LA had a party inside when Perkins got injured at the 5:30 mark of the 1st qtr.  Rebounds total right now is 50-33 for LA.  laki disparity..

Too bad for Boston, Perkins may not be able to play in Game 7 sama ng bagsak e.. tapos nadaganan pa ni Bynum.  For the Lakers, atleast si Bynum nakakapaglaro pa kahit 25-30 mins. average per game..

Too bad.. too bad.. too bad.. sayang..

Mukhang nagalit Lakers  >:(. Sobrang galing naman nila ngayon. Baliktad naman tong Boston Celtics ko, ang tatan*a! Lot's of turn overs and missed lay ups. Defensive lapses and all.

Game seven it is!

Go Celtics! Beat LA!

Boston won't be traumatized by this loss.  Lagi nga sila may amnesia because they bonce back after a loss.  Talk about resiliency.

But of course the Lakers now have confidence.

There's a reason why the last time the home teams won back to back was in 1988 and 1994......

Absolutely....more bitter also for the home team.  Don't forget the Celtics being the underdogs.

Now Boston make it happen!

You can now throw out all of the bad games and analysis before.  It's for all the marbles now for Friday.  I'm going with history for the C's.  The Lakers have yet to prove they can have back to back good games.

Well the Lakers have the chance to prove it on Friday. Go Lakers!

I know why. Because in that same span there have only been 3 game 7s. The other one was the Spurs over Pistons in 2005.

If the Celtics lose, I don't think its fans will just shrug it off as "its okay, the Lakers merely got even, they are the favorites after all and had home court advantage". It will leave a bitter taste in the mouth as well, admit it or not :)

One game to decide who wins it all. There really isn't any game in the series that one could say was a classic and I hope this last game would be it. The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. Gawd, I hope the drama bleeds in this last game.

I predict a triple overtime game, with all players in foul trouble and some fouled out. The winner wins it by only 1 point in a buzzer beating 3-pointer  ;D.

Lakers dominated this game only because Perkins got injured in the 1st Qtr. and Boston was not able to immediately adjust defensively.  Nawala rebounding and defense nila inside.  But give credit to the Lakers..  They really wanted this game more than the Celtics.  But I'm sure next game, Boston will make the necessary adjustments and with or without Perkins, I'm sure they'll come prepared and bounce back from this ugly loss.

It's the Lakers' game to lose on Friday. If they are overconfident and allow the Celtics to be in the game late, it will be anybody's ball game. Perkins seems to be done but the Celtics have been resilient.
Just don't put balloons on the rafters yet. Who knows? Artest might be laying bricks again.

This would be the finals to remember because it's a seesaw series. Leave predictions at the window because anything goes, forget the stats too!

Saya nito sa Friday!

Knockout game na.  In the past 6 games, forget about...

Lakers
-  Kobe being a ballhog
-  Artest being useless in offense
-  Gasol being soft again
-  Odom being invisible
-  Fisher being a flopper

Celtics
-  Ray Allen going 0-13
-  Pierce being ineffective before game 6
-  KG losing explosion
-  Rondo 4-17 from the stripe
-  Wallace being useless all season

Throw that all away.  It doesn't matter anymore in Game 7!

I hope Doc has adjustments....His advantage in losing this game is that he has the element of surprise now.  Jackson can't anymore devise subsequent moves to counter the Celtics as they played horribly!

In the words of Ray Allen's mom ( when Ray was raining treys vs Cleveland ), "That's what I'm talkin' about!"  LA beat Boston in Game 6.  Nope, it's an understatement.  LA annihilated Boston.  LA massacred Boston. They did with utter precision like a Ninja Assassin ( just watched this in BD ). More than the impeccable offense of LA was their blistering defense.  It was so furious that it held Boston to, now hear this Boston fans, "the second lowest-scoring performance in NBA Finals history. Only Utah's infamous 54-point performance against Chicago in 1998 was worse."   The game was over in the first half, LA leading by more than 20 points.  Either LA was so good in defense or Boston forgot how to play big time basketball in a Finals series.

So this sets the stage for the most awaited Game 7, the 17th only in NBA history.  The last winner take all was 5 years ago between San Antonio and Detroit.

At the Staples Center where the Lakers is a solid 10-1 in the post season.  Yes, homecourt advantage.  That's why you play hard in the regular season to earn this.

More stats here that favor Boston :o In their 11 previous finals meetings, Bos and LA have played game 7 4x only, with Boston winning all four.  Coach Phil Jax will have his very first game 7 experience ever. So he is in an unfamiliar territory as they say.

So will Kobe get his 5th ring, one shy of His Airness?  Or will Boston, bruised and battered and all, resurrect and steal a game on the road?  AbanganDalawang tulog na lang.
