Kobe will probably be Finals MVP, but he didn't deserve it today. I thought he was going to lose the game for LA. But all's well that ends well. Really happy for the team and Artest. Mission accomplished - payback complete!

Well actually Kobe played a very good game with 15 rebounds and all the freethrows he made! He wasn't forcing shots in the 4th and made crucial assists to Fisher and Artest's 3. So Kobe really deserves the MVP award.

Artest if the best perimeter defender in the NBA, they signed him to prepare for Lebron or Pierce. His offense though is the big surprise, good for LA!

IMO this championship is sweeter than last year - winning Game 7 vs. your arrogant rivals (paging the Truth and Big Baby), after being down 3-2. Sweet 16 for the purple and gold franchise!

You don't hold a team at 32.5% percent shooting and still lose the game. You just don't.

Free throw discrepancy: +20 for the Lakers. 21 FT attempts in the 4th quarter alone. That's more than what the Celtics attempted the WHOLE GAME. You can't say only the Celtics were physical. Both teams played physical ball.

it was a great game from both teams... minalas lang Celtics 2nd half.. plus they gave alot of freethrows which really made the difference in the game..

Would've been a nice back story for the aging Cs mowing down the superstars of the NBA from Wade, Lebron to Howard and Kobe en route to another title. But no such thing as the luck of the Irish today, Boston! Wooohhoooo!!!

Oh, and Artest made good of his promise to help Kobe win a title back when he visited a naked and dejected Kobe (after game 6 of '08) in the showers.
