Hi Paul no major updates yet, most of the work is being done in the other parts of the house. So it looks like your room will be finished ahead of mine! hehe

In the meantime, the following got delivered yesterday but not to the new house just yet (maalikabok pa sobra):

The third in the trio has a slight problem in the reclining mechanism so they pulled it out first.

Yan lang muna hehe

Hopefully my room could finish by month end but that's just room lang. I still can't move in my gears until the whole house is completed...estimate around mid Aug. So, we'll never know...your room could still finish before mine.

Nice to know your HT chairs already delivered na...hope the supplier will able to fix the other one soon. I can't wait to try it on..they look very comfortable.

Where did you order your HT chairs from?

Hi Paul, Ok na, they delivered the third seat today.

Yes, they're very comfy, I got them from Finiture one of their remaining stocks. Like you, August is still the target for finishing everything in the house, hopefully not later. ... Can't wait! hehe

Tinanong ko nga misis ko kung pwedeng tanggalin muna ang bed sa bedroom and yung chairs ang ipalit for our current bedroom setup pero hindi pumayag! hehehe

Actually, David, the seats were the first items I shelled out money for. Kinulit na lang ako ng finiture kasi matagal nang hindi pa nadedeliver. hehehe

Ako rin ganyan Arn. I was able to keep on requesting Finiture for an extension but after a few months they said they had to deliver the chairs already or they'd charge me for storage na. So the chairs were in the construction site (covered in plastic) for a few months.

Post pictures of any new developments please.

Hehe sorry mga braders at natulugan ko kayo last night, bed time na ng anak ko e hehehehe

Tama, mga braders, wait muna tayo ng konti, although I'm getting a bit impatient na rin like you guys. Medyo naka-pacing kasi yung ht room with the rest of the house, e it's the small details that's taking long.

What's new so far e may window and door na, at meron na ring lights pero di pa kumpleto (wala pang cove lighting, naghahanap ako ng mas matipid kesa T5, kasi based on my computations, the T5 cove lights will consume 300+ watts/hour.)

Next up, would be final coat of paint on the ceiling, assembling and painting the DVD/BD shelf, installation of the fixed screen, covering the walls and carpeting the floor. I also need to start looking into the AV rack, and sub/s.

As for the Denon, sobrang suspense ba brader Tirso? hehe. Yung 4310 nakuha ko sa presyo (list price) ng 3311. I was choosing between the two, but decided to go for the 4310.

Btw, it looks like the 4311 will be out in the market soon. Based on rumored specs, it looks like it's almost a 4810 for a cheaper price.

Arn, make sure that the color scheme is neutral. No bright reds, greens, yellows, blues. You could also try to paint the area around the screen a darker color - that should increase the perceived contrast ratio.

Hi Mark, yes, the color scheme would be dark blue and dark grey, with the front wall the carpet and ceiling being dark gray. I'll ask if pwedeng black yung front wall pero wala atang cloth panels na black na available....
