Muntik na ko bumili kanina ng pensonic DVD with hdmi & USB port. Yung USB pala di pwede sa high capacity hdd. Instead I went for the pioneer dv 120k. Wala syang hdmi pero ok naman pq watching on a 32 ld460. I decided mas importante sakin yung reliability ng brand. Besides, my purpose in getting a DVD player was to preserve my xbox360 especially when watching sparrow DVDs. I tried rewatching DVDs and compare it to my xbox and though the xbox is connected through hdmi, surprisingly, the pioneer DVD gave out better pq and played DVDs that the xbox360 had a hard time playing. I'm happy with my first pioneer purchase and I would recommend this to budget conscious people. Priced at 2490, it's a good buy for me as it is also able to play divx through USB using my buffalo 500gb formatted through fat32. So why settle for generic DVD players when you can get reliable branded players for just a few more bucks?
Can't wait for december and get an lg blu Ray player in Singapore.
