direct radiating from my experience is beaten in the sound dispersion aspect by a dipole or bipole, mas nagiging expansive and dating ng surround effects, picking up from this experience, i would suppose bipole SSS would be better than direct radiating SB01.

this is the reason why i sold my RS1 and kept my 9DFS, even if its a mOntior Audio, i still favor the surround effect using the dipole DFS than the direct radiating RS1.

brader onkyo, to add up some thoughts of the SSS-01, it is miles ahead in clarity, sound and build quality of the 9fs. it's just having 2 SBS-01 radiating at different direction in one box.

p.s. my previous surround speakers are 9dfs, no offense meant to the users

im sure its miles apart when we speak of SQ brader weng, I actually had my favorite store reserved the last of its breed RSFX, i think they are still keeping it for me but have not jumped the gun yet despite the fact that i have heard how good it is.

i am putting on hold all purchases i intend to do until i get to transfer to the new house but the STS-02, SCS-02 and SSS-02, will surely give my MA s a run for their money.

-replace the SCS mains with STS
-use the SCS mains for front height duties

teka, teka..... wala pa pala akong new receiver at pambili ng STS

siguro pag manalo ako ng lotto o kahit swertres

Ako...I have a really "concrete" and valid reason not to upgrade to the STS! BUTAS NA PADER KO SA SCS. Kaya yun yon!!!

my plastic tux can't be easily seen on a textured painted wall unless you look for it. so madali pa rin ma convince to upgrade

it's always a waiting game with SVS. they make the items as i order, i cant seem to adjust to their lead time.
