Today, I've had the opportunity to visit graceland again. I was joined by fellow pdvders bro ninjababes and vtec3. We were able to audition the well regarded svs speakers and subs. I'm not really an audio expert but let me share my impressions on the MTS02. It produces very good bass very good highs. Imaging is also excellent.  Listening to simon and garfunkel's the boxer and sound of silence was really a joy. We played around and shifted the audio from MTS tO SCS and STS. I will not compare these speakers from one another since for me it's like  comparing apples and oranges. So if you are into pure stereo listening, it will surely give you hours of listening pleasure. Now i wonder how the MTS 01 will fare against the MTS 02

always welcome guys!

on topic, i just made the last order of M speakers.  SVS USA has run out of stock, and it won't be re-stocked na.  SVS does plan to release new speakers, but end of 2012 at the earliest.

coincidentally, meron akong customer na bumili ng SSS-02 ... narinig yung MTS-02 ... overnight lang, nagorder na today :)  di siguro nakatulog :D

This is something I would want to share to everyone concerned.

Today, I found myself at Graceland. An unscheduled trip due to an immediate concern on my left SCS-01 speaker.

Just so you know...my HT is 99% used for viewing movies. I hardly listen to music on my set-up.

I recently downloaded a DTS Audio Demo file from the net. The first track was Seal's "A Prayer for the Dying." For some reason, at the intro of the song, an odd sound came upon the upper woofer of the left channel speaker, (where the intro focuses the output of the sound). It was so odd, it really caught my attention - something was definitely wrong. Deeply concerned, I stopped and immediately played the song from the beginning to make sure it was not just the quality of the file. But again, there goes the odd sound. It's very hard to describe. You would have to hear it to notice it.

So, I tried playing movies. So far so good, the odd sound was not heard from my listening position at all. Still doubtful, I went near the speaker, close enough to position my ear directly beside the woofer. There is was, the odd sound was there, but descrete.

I text sir Mike and told him about the problem. He got details of what was wrong and asked me to pack the speakers and take it back to him. Why you might ask? He offered to take them back for a replacement with a brand new set of speakers. :o I have had this set for 1 year and 4 months now and for those who don't know, the SCS-01's have been obsolete for some time now. So the direct replacement was the SCS-02's.

I am sharing this, because you will seldom find after sales customer service as GREAT as this! I am sure sir Mike is busy with his family business, but he willingly accommodated me this morning. My HATS OFF to you sir Mike for backing-up the "guarantee" that SVS offers to its consumers. Like I said on my text message sir Mike, you have a loyal customer in ME! :) SVS for Life! ;D

I work for a US company based here in the Phils and we have ONE goal...to turn a client to be a "CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!" Repeat business is the key. There is no great feeling in life than to know that a customer comes back to you...again and again and again. Not only for your products, but the after sales service you provide. ;)

Again, sir Mike, THANK YOU for your time, concern, effort, professionalism and integrity. More power to you and SVS! :)

PS: For some reason, the 02's sound better than the 01's ::)

Honga eh...to tell you frankly, I was waiting for the water to arrive. ;D Malamang talaga nauwi ko yung center kung nakainom ako ng tubig. :D
