Klotz IY104 unbalanced patched cable
« on: Dec 16, 2010 at 01:51 PM »
Hi, I just wanted to ask if any of you has any experience using the Klotz IY104 unbalanced patch cable as interconnects (ICs) for audio. This wire is locally available at Audiophile retail stores - you can find one in Audiophile Cubao.

Any listening impressions?

If this is a mic cable, I think this is the model I used around 4 or 5 years ago. But I remember it to be GY and not IY. Well, if this is it, Highs are extended, mids and bass have good body. Not a bad cable on the right equipment. Not so good if you're into imaging and dynamics. I find it to be warm. With warm, I don't mean rolled off.

Hope this helps.
