Serenity

-Inspite of all the very good reviews, I just can't keep up with the movie. Heck, I watched this in 3 installments. Yeah it had incredible action and chase scenes but there were also a lot of dialogue that lulled me to sleep. $:-\$ I should've taken a shot of espresso so as to watch this in one sitting.

The ship reminded me of the Millenium Falcon add a little more passengers. On the positive side, the surround sound and LFEs were great specially on that part where their small antigravity craft crashed inside their ship. The action scenes of River was a worthwhile watch that jolted me up to finish this movie.

Blue Crush 2

-riding on the title of the hit Blue Crush, this film is in no relation to the original flick. You cannot call this a sequel but it has its own story and presentation to hold.. The thing that I like in this movie are having more surfing action scenes. Acting was bad but it was a good time passer. Feel good movie.

I love surfing movies! Will check this out, having seen Blue Crush and loving it. For other surfing movies, check out John Milius "Big Wednesday (1978)" starring Jan Michael Vincent, William Katt & Gary Busey who are real life surfers as well. Also "Point Break" starring Keanu Reeves, Patrick Swayze and again, Gary Busey!!

Thanks bro for the suggestions. The last time I've watched Point Break was maybe a decade ago and it really had some cool surfing scenes. Don't expect BC2 to be on par but it's a worthwhile watch.

I'll look into Big Wednesday as well.
