Glad that my first nmt, the arrived this morning.

Of all the cheaper NMTs, this one have a COAX output.

My set-up:

KAIBOER H1055 COAX --> Monica DAC --> passive preamp --> Rotel amp --> Paradigm Titans

Yes, a 2 channel audio set-up.

The H1055 played the FLACs (16/44, 24/96) without hiccups.

My SPDIF setting was set to RAW, because the LPCM setting sounded bright.

I just found out that the H1055 does not play GAPLESS

.

Anyway, I can join the FLAC files with shntool:)

Goodbye to my PRIMARE CD player...

yup, it doesn't play gapless. but i still think it does a good job considering the price. Kudos to your new kaiboer hope you'll enjoy it.

I am very happy with the kaiboer, very good price performance ratio.

Even the the higher priced Mede8er 500X does not play gapless.

From the Mede8er forum:

Sa Powerwin meron pa. Got my H1055Plus last Sat, 3.5K price nila.

ung playing ng movie na may 2 file example movie with cd1 and cd2 makikita mo magstop muna ung cd 1 bago magplay ung cd2 kung baga pansin mo ung paglipat ng files.

thanks.... kala ko, it refers to audio. I have multiple audio tracks in one file, FLAC format. planning to purchase kaiboer and hook it up on yamaha AVR with internal DAC.

Meron shop sa tabi nang Foxcon in the Gilmore IT Center (Ground Floor), na nagbebenta rin nang KAIBOER, same price as Digitag. Not sure kung Powerwin rin nga ba itong store na 'to. P2,500 ang 1055, P3,500 ang 1055Plus.

sir my question lng po ako regarding pag setup ng kaiboer... hindi po kasi sya gumagana pag plug ko sya sa hdmi ng receiver dun dvd slot na hdmi.. gumagana lang po sya pag dun ko sya saksak sa BD na hdmi.. ang problem lang po is my ps3 ako.. dun po nakasaksak yung ps3 ko sa BD slot.. hindi ko po alam kung paanu i configure yung kaiboer sa receiver..

help pls

just got my 1055 kaiboer today i matched it up with seagate go flex. very worth the price. highly recommended. No problem playing in 1080p mkv or avi

Question lang mga sir pwede pa po ba ako mag transfer or delete ng files sa harddisk na nakakabit na sa kaiboer without pulling it out? meron po ba sya file manager? Thanks!

Yes sir pwede po.. and meron din syang file manager, I got mine kanina pong umaga from digitag. kaso po hindi pa po upgraded ang firmware and ang reklamo ko lang is delay ang response ng remote.. pag mabilis pindot mo.. tapos kana pumindot gumagalw pa screen... hehehe.. pero performance wise OK sya.. maganda...sya.. ika nga bang for the bucks...regarding naman sa response ng remote.. and distance.. guys try this.. don't use the free battery..bili kayo ng energizer.. you'll see the difference.. kaninang tanghali gusto ko isoli kasi ayaw gumana ng remote need ko pa lumatpit, but after changing the batteries.. ayown.. kahit mga 12 feet ka OK Parin..

Got my 1055 also today at digitag

plays everything I downloaded, but I'm not yet too familiar with the features and settings, need to familiarize the remote & I also bought new batteries I even left the stock batteries there

, by the way I setup the coaxial out to raw and It plays my dts files but on some movies with aac i have to set it up to lcpm for my reciever to detect the input, is this normal? or I downloaded the wrong stuff

. By the way sulit talaga to for 2.5t!

Guys can you confirm po if kaya nya mag play ng DTS-MA and TRUE HD with a size of 40GB pataas? and kaya nya ba play yung may header compression? salamat po.. wala po kasi net to download eh.. sana po may magpa kopya... kahit tig-isa lang to confirm po.. salamat.. hehehe...

another question po, yung reset button sa likod.. when I use this ba the system will go back to its factory settings and to the factory firmware? salamat po...

Yung bluray rip nang Star Trek ko, 34Gb. Hindi na siya kaya nang 1055+ ko. It can output TrueHD, but the movie stutters like crazy. Hindi talaga viewable.

Yan ang tingin ko na weakness nang 1055+, it only has a USB interface. While it has a HDD bay, it doesn't utilize true SATA speeds. Parang meron siyang built-in SATA-to-USB converter sa loob.
