Yup bro... More than night and day ang difference with regards to not just contrast but the whole IQ and colors.. I was very disappointed in the beginning... Akala ko kelangan lang padilimin ang kwarto.. di pumasok sa isipan ko ang reflections from walls and ceiling..

Comparing with my LCD tv, mas black pa ang black sa PJ vs my LCD.. specially the annoying black bars pag nanonood nang movies he he he....

Eto evolution ko

2000 - Bought my very first Audio Video System Aiwa Mini Compo with 7800 WATTS pure PMPO power ha ha ha with 14" CRT TV Sony
2002 - Joined Pinoy DVD
       - Because of PDVD i was tempted to Sold my Aiwa to buy Yamaha RX-V520 with 5.1 small speaker systems
       - Because of Pinoydvd i was tempted to upgrade my 5.1 Speakers and bought Wharfs 8.3 and Wharfs Center
       - After a 2 months i was able to buy Wharfs 8.1 Bookshelf for my rears
       - Because of the 6.1 thing and DD EX and DTS ES thinng being discussed in PDVD, i Sold my Yamaha and bought a DENON..
       - I wasnt happy with the Denon so after 2 weeks, i replaced it with NAD T752. Pumayag si Spectra
       - NAD was veryvery nice SQ but i had Problems with NAD-T752(Lots of Bugs in Firmware)
       - Spectra replaced it with HK AVR5500
       - Was satisfied with HK and used it until 2005.
       - Bought a JBL PSW1200 Sub from PDVD member and it was awesome
2005 - 2010 - My setup was unused because I moved to Manila for a Job
2010 Dec - Bought my first LCD TV from SNS, it comes with a Panny HTIB
2011 - Decided to bring my HK, WHarfs and JBL Sub.. Then i started this thread as "I'm back with the addiction"

Ganun naman talaga... There will be times na you cant get what you want so patience lang talaga... But as soon as you have the opportunity then i suggest you grab it and be happy...Then time will come again that there's something new and you may want it... Patience na naman ulit until the opportunity knocks again....Cycle lang he he he... ;D

He he he.. pwedeng pwede.... Inaantay ko pa yung curtains that would cover the whole backwall nang screen para di makita yung old window and doors. Also papalitan ko yung border nung screen to paint and remove the felt he he he

PJ is also now connected with a UPS, tamang tama nung nag tetest ako UPS biglang nawalan nang kuryente ha ha ha... coincidence talaga...

Langyang PJ route yan... ang daming kelangan gawin grabe..

Gusto ko marinig Audio setup mo....

Hindi ko pa na paint, i'm making final measurements...and Yup it's the most difficult part of the project.. You also need to consider the measurement of the bars specially in my case that i have a fix plywood screen.. Sa dimension kasi nang board kelangan 1.5 inches ang boarder to achieve 92 inches... Eh i decided to lessen the screen size to 87 kasi nalalakihan masyado si misis.. so that means if i go 87 inches sa size nang plywood ko... i need to recompute the boarders.. Hindi na sya basta basta 2 inches overall or 3 inches.. In my case on a plywood screen to achive 87 inches.. kelangan ko 3.5 inches vertical border and around 2.5 inches horizontal border..

so dapat sa umpisa pa lang computed na lahat, screen size and allowance for borders to achieve the size..

If you are going to paint, boysen has Quick Dry Enamel 691 Flat black..

It's very difficult to find a Flat Black paint.. sa spray madami... If hindi paint, i suggest Felt paper if you are good in cutting things straight..
