im on a lookout for a new HD Player. just passed by an electronic store near my area, saw an HP HD Player. it supports almost all video format but we haven't tried if it plays midi (karaoke/videoke cd) which my wife wants. it's torrent capable as well using lan. the usb port supports dvd drives which is good since we have movies in dvd format (but most of the movies that we will watch are in my hard drive). they are selling it for 6,000 pesos with hdmi and component cable.
any help on maybe better deal or player than HP? im looking for one with the BEST price which support atleast the following:
-can play midi (karaoke cd)
-with torrent
-usb supports external dvdrom
-wifi ready (or atleast can support wifi dongle)
-upscaling
-around 6k budget
