Mukha talagang cheap yung packaging so I wouldn't be surprised kung VHS quality nga.  Kung makakakita ka pa ng DVD9 copy, ang ganda ng quality!  May DTS track pa!

Ive got a region 1 copy, and the quality is quite great for a film made from 1984. Pero there are a few grains, no special features at all. Not all dvd's I think lalo na old films, specially yung mga sleeper hits and the not so known titles-are prioritized when it comes to the transferring process. But honestly I think the region 1 DVD release might be the best you can get.

biggest tell-tale sign kung copya sa betacam is kung full-screen ang ratio nya. also check the languages... if your player detects it as "tagalog"... malamang betacam copy nga. my "before night falls" is like this... and it's a gift... so i am stuck with it.

hi guys! just asking, why is it some of R3 dvd has no aspect ratio indicate at the back of its label? unlike R1 dvd has a complete information. i just planning to get "THE KILLING FIELDS" but hesitate because how do i know if this is an anamorphic or non-anamorphic widescreen? no aspect ratio indicated.

The local R3 release of The Killing Fields is a low-budget DVD-5 FULLSCREEN transfer from a U-Matic (yata) or Betacam master, if I remember right.
