Meron naman yatang composite (av rca) jacks yung A1 so pwede siya. Yung A3 ko kasi dati e miniAV jack lang ang option for analog connection at namimili ng klase ng miniAV to RCA cable.
yup, meron at pwede sa crt yan...same setup used sa room ng daughter ko :D

My A1HD won't output raw audio on HDMI (only PCM). Should I use the optical audio output instead of a single HDMI cable? Is this normal?

Ok na po kaya tong problem na to? sayang naman kasi almost all mkvs are 4gb di po ba

kakabili lang ng officemate ko, newbie sa HT world, mukhang mau-upset pa yata.

Sir just want to confirm. I bought one but I can't make it work with my 500gb external drive. It detects the drive but it doesn't see the movie files in it. Its in the specs naman it works up to 2TB na external drive ( both FAT32 and NTFS ). May mga tweaks ba ito sir? or wala na bang inu-update na firmware to ?
My objective is to use this player from an external drive in feed to AVR to get 5.1 audio (DD and DTS).

Yup the drive works well with PC and other android boxes. I tested it with an 8Gb thumb drive and it can see the files and folders inside. However, when I tried to play one movie (in mkv) it plays only the sound but no video would come out. just black screen.  I was thinking if meron pa controls na sa remote lang ma-access. Di ko pa kasi nagagamit remote neto, wala pang battery.

I am thinking now, baka eto ay fake or ibang item talaga to.

eto nalang sir MXQ pro 10.10 sale sa shopee. 549php lang.

I do have the MXQ Pro ( 1Gb ram version ) and the MX10 Pro ( the 4Gb ram version ). The latter plays any video well and mabilis na. Plays Netflix and Prime Video very well. Its an improvement fro the MXQ Pro (1Gb ram). The only problem I found with it is can't pass a DD or DTS Audio from a Movie to my receiver. Tried Kodi and VLC but still output nya ay 2.0 PCM pa rin. The MXQ Pro (1Gb ram) plays and outputs DD or DTS Audio well. Mejo sluggish lang talaga sa ibang apps.
Etong dilemma nato leads me to try this old and simple media player which I think could play it well from local drives, but it failed.

MX10pro and Mxq10 can pass thru DTS and DD audio, you have to configure it via the sound settings to coaxial only and pass thru raw audio. On Kodi, you'll have to configure the audio to RAW on coaxial, not both, and viola DTS and DD. Now to test, for me the best Android video player is the MX player, watch the movie file there, if there's no audio make sure your setting is HW not SW.Enjoy

Sir Alfie,  Thanks thats a good news. So I need to use the coaxial for the audio ? It doesn't work with the HDMI? I'll try it sir mamaya.  Yup I have tried also the MX Player. I hope this will work. If this will work, this will make MXQ10 or MX10 be a good Android box at a very reasonable price.

Regarding your Measy, if your HDD is a 2.5 HDD, chances are it won't be recognized by the Measy or other older models HDD Media Players, you can try a dual usb connector that has a connector for power. Older models were designed only for flash drives and 3.5 HDD that has to be powered. Now if you're using the newer 3.0 2.5 HDD then out of luck, that has not been configure to the older linux based players.
The Measy is one of the more reliable players, it plays almost all file until the arrival of the HEVC, which can only detect audio but not the video.

Hi Sir Alfie,

I think this explains it all.
1.   My HDD enclosure pala is 3.0 to SATA HDD Hard Drive Enclosure. Binili ko lang sa Lazada. Kaya cguro hindi mabasa mga files sa loob. I have tried replacing its cable with the 2 USB at one end para pwede mag-add ng supply, but it didn't work also.
2.  As mentioned above, I have tried saving one movie in Flash Drive. It was read but walang video na lumalabas. The movie was H.265 or HEVC.

Thanks Sir Alfie, you've cleared it all. Check uli mamaya if I can make it work. I agree, ang ganda kasi ng review Measy A1HD dito at kahit sa ibang sites or youtube. Di ko lang makuha bakit di gumagana tong sa akin. Yun pala mali lahat.

Thanks Again. I'll update once tested.

If you really want to view your downloaded HEVC file, despair not, just CONVERT it. I use Handbrake, it has a portable version, hence you need not install it into your system (although you might want the exe. version) Point is install it if you have a good processor (i5 or higher and about 2.8 to 3.0GHz) and lots of RAM 16gig preferably or higher, it'll take less than 10 or 8 mins. to convert a 1.5Gb file to either MKV(preference) or MP4, including subtitles. Now if your PC is still a C2D 3.0GHz, even with 8Gb RAM it'll take an hour or so, and of course you can still get the newer 5G Mxq10 that has 2gig RAM and 16Gig storage, I think it'll play your HEVC smoothly, lastly, you still have your octacore android phones especially if your processor is a Qualcomm, even a helio MTK will play it smoothly, me my preference player is still the MXPlayer, although VLC and Kmplayer are also reliable players. I've read somewhere that you can utilize a microusb to HDMI connector (use to see this at CDR-king, but I have not tried it) and you can watch your HEVC smoothly in your big screen 55"/60" HDTV. Enjoy.
