Before anything -- the room is not that big so the listening position is quite close to the back wall. Ergo, I don't think you need rear surrounds (or "surround backs").

May i be clarified, did you mean i can keep the rear Rear (L+R), skip Surround (L+R) side speakers.
Also, will your recommendation change if i opt to wire and mount the 5ft high? instead of positioning it at the ceiling?
I've seen ceiling speakers used for surround backs but not for the surrounds. I don't think that will work. The best is probably to use dipole speakers, wall-mounted around 5 to 6 feet high.
