Its very normal for point guards to score and make lots of assists but its EXTRAORDINARY for a point guard below 6'5 that also crashes the boards better than those forwards and centers in the elite league.

Rondo plays smart "street" basketball.  Yun tipong pag hapon magtatanggal na ng tsinelas at maghahamon na ng tatluhan o limahan ;D That's why Pinoys love this guy.  One of the best PGs now in the NBA, IMO.

Westbrook isn't even a PG but an SG. Remember when he was benched in the 4Q during the playoffs? He shoots too much and can't make plays for his teammates.

also was MJ during his early years but eventually earned to settle down and hit the breaks when needed.
Westbrook is young, talented, and very explosive and thats what makes him fun to watch when he's on a rythm.
he also has good chemistry with Durant so no need to break up a good tandem.
OKC is a vey young team on the rise so add up some more spices and they'll be the Main Dish.

Westbrook is really a natural SG throughout his whole career.  He was a SG in UCLA with Darren Collison being the PG of that team.

In the NBA, the PG is arguably the hardest position to master.  So switching from being a SG all of your life to immediately being the starting PG of your team in the NBA... one can understand his struggles playing the position.

Yes, but MJ's FG% is much better during this first 3 years.

Well you are comparing Westbrook to the best player to have ever played the game.  Also Jordan didn't play point.  So as a SG, he could roam around and get passes in places around the court where all he had to do was put the ball in the basket.  As a point it's different.  'more often than not to be able to score, you have to create one for yourself.

The Bulls played the triangle. No much need for a "PG". And no, I didn't compare Westbrook to MJ, (just replying to steelcrazy). That would be blasphemous.

Let me get this straight, i'm only talking about their immaturity. both were from NC and both are very explosive players that plays to the crowd, very erratic ksi full of energy pa becoz of their youth.
MJ became a great player when he start hitting the breaks and stepped on the gas when he needed most.
Hope we can see Westbrook's maturity in due time.
Wg lng sya mghangad na sapawaan nya si Durant.

There goes the season for the Spurs. Ginobli out indefinitely with a broken hand. With the shortened season he may not recover in time.  Another year wasted for Timmy.

Actually they got better with the addition of WEST and HILL plus more playing time for Hansbrough.
Pacers are definitely legitimate contenders in the east.

Has Bynum fully recovered?
His stats are very impressive so far at the start of the season.
Superb 20-20 performance for him.
If he continues to play like that all throughout the season then the Lakers are tough to beat.
Their size is a clear advantage to other teams.
Kobe can just shoot, drive and dish out and their BIG men can just clean up the garbage for him.

Seems the 4-game suspension at the start of the season made him (Bynum) like a beast...He also trimmed down a bit, must be a product of hard work during the off-season...

Still, I feel the Lamar trade was a waste...I am sure they could still have room for McBob and Troy even w/ LO in the roster...LO is still a Laker in a Mavs uniform :(

they could be the team to beat had they got the CP3 deal.
i'm impressed with Bynum. No wonder the Lakers stood firm to hold on to him despite many trade offers before.

He could have gotten 30 points/25 rebounds yesterday had his other team mate shared the ball kaso nasa bounce back mode is Kobe yesterday. Most of Bynums points came in put backs from offensive rebounds and not from designed plays for him.

yup kelangan talaga nila ng magaling na playmaking pg like cp3, kobe is dominating the ball too much and is destroying the offense with his ill advised shot selection. kahit off night pinipilit pa rin.

New York has a decent line up but i think they should consider change in coaching staffs.
I would love to see Phil Jackson coaching the KNICKS in the near future.

Pardon me, but I'll have to disagree. Knicks have two of the most overrated players in the league in Melo and Amare. Those two dudes don't make their teammates better, and they don't defend much either.

With NYK, it's all about scoring, which happens to be the most overrated aspect of the game.

with a better coach probably they both can compliment each other
