Puro pilay na kasi ang mga players ngayon, the healthiest team might win it all.

There are reports that Howard has dropped the Lakers of teams he prefers to play for after getting a call from Kobe.  Kobe said that if Howard is serious in playing for LA, Kobe would still get his number of shots with Pau being the 2nd option.  Howard would just be the third option.  And this discouraged Howard.  And now it looks like he is more inclined to play for the Nets.

Howard has recently stated that he's open to playing for the Chicago Bulls .... even if D. Rose, ADIDAS' other main NBA endorser, plays there.

Might be a big risk for Chicago though, since they'll lose value (Deng & Noah probably) ..... breaking up an already contending team ..... might also end up absorbing a massive contract like Turkoglu.

Best for the NBA ..... Howard remains with Orlando.

i don't think he'll end up in chi town,as d12 won't risk irking adidas,as ayaw ng adidas na he's on the same team with drose.

i'm betting he goes to the nets.

but i don't wanna see him pull a shaquille on orlando.agree with you bro, best he stays in ORL.

Interesting ang matchup ni Lin bukas VS. John Wall. He went undrafted in the 2010 draft, but he got noticed by NBA teams because he outplayed John Wall in a Summer League game.

D'Antoni's system has always been dependent on a capable point guard.... Nash, Felton & Billups to an extent.

kung gusto niya ng magandang team better stay in Magic, or lipat sya sa top contender teams like Lakers, Mavs and Bulls.

The D12 drama is so bleh now. He's pretty indecisive on where he'd like to end up. Frankly, he's no Shaq where he can really dominate. Offensively, I'd take Bynum over him. D12 is just more durable.

And what's this I read that the LAkers and Celtics possibly working on a trade to swap Rajon Rando and Pau Gasol (and possibly fillers to make salaries match)? Solves LA's need for a PG while adds offense down low for Boston.

Jeremy Lin!

I'd take D12 over Bynum offensively, but yeah the D12 thing is pretty bleh now.

The Rondo-Pau is highly unlikely, more likely a work of fanfiction. It's highly unlikely that Ainge will execute a trade to help out a rival especially now that they're set for rebuilding mode in the following year or so.

get jeremy lin via trade to the LAL! =) big asian community in LA =)

trade Fisher for Jeremy Lin.

NYK will be loaded with veteran guards: Bibby, Davis and Fisher.

LAL will be getting a new asian guy. I remember before they drafted Sun Yue.

if Lin is for real,i wouldn't trade him for Fish.I'd more than likely trade away bibby and BD,for draft picks and/or cash.hehe

Natawa ako sa comment sa Yahoo! -- Jeremy "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Point Guard" Lin  ;D

Hope he'll be consistent throughout the season and possibly make a push for a playoff spot. Mas ok talaga sa system ni Coah D'Antoni pag magaling PG and may ball rotation unliek pag andan c Melo puro ISO.

talo uli LAKERS  >:(

Lakers need to beef up their roster quickly.  Or else, Kobe will just have to be satisfied breaking NBA records and forget winning another ring this year.  Arenas is a top caliber player that can give LA enough boost.  I hope they get him after they lost Kenyon Martin to LAC.

US PresswireThe Los Angeles Lakers are in need of a point guard and the word is that the team wouldn't mind doing a deal with the Boston Celtics to land Rajon Rondo.

Celtics’ Rajon Rondo headed to Lakers?

Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak tells Lakers.com that there is definitely something he'd like to do before the trading deadline: "If there were a way for us to get a 25-year-old, All-Star, ball-handling guard we'd love to do it … but that's not likely in February. So you look at other alternatives, and see if it's better than what you have. That's all."

As Hoopsworld points out, Rondo is the only 25-year-old, All-Star, ball-handling guard in the league right now. Sources also tell the site that, in exchange for Rondo, the Celtics "have interest" in forward/center Pau Gasol, who has two years left on his contract after this season.

Gasol is averaging 16.4 points, 10.1 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per game. Rondo is averaging 13.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 9.8 assists per game for the Celts.

Yeah, that Rondo-for-Gasol trade rumor was probably started just to make the game later more interesting, since we're not hearing either LA or Boston as favorites to win this year.  :P  No way one team will do a direct trade to help each other out.  Pwede pang FA signing ala Shaq or Rick Fox.

Check this out, from yesterday's Bulls-Hornets game.  They should do this all the time!  ;D
