I haven't confirmed, but someone said the Knicks average 1 TO less as a team since Lin started, despite his TOs.

Galing. 3pt play for the tie and 3 for the win.

He's Linsane! hehe. Ganda laro ni Lin although he has 5 TO. Doesn't matter anyway because they won. Can't wait for Melo to be back in the line-up and see how will they mix up. I expect more pick and roll plays with Amare/Chandler and Lin, then Lin slashing to the basket and kicking it out to Melo for the open three.  ;D I hope they lessen their iso plays with Melo now that Lin is playing great basketball.

US-born Taiwanese ata sir. if he continues this play we might see him in next year's all star game. Of course he has to work on this TO's to up his game. Saw him play and NBA TV has been featuring his games in the last two days. Very impressive...a star is born!

And the finals is the biggest stage of them all. It's where legends are born and reputations are made. 10 years from now we will still remember the team that with 1 superstar managed to beat a team headed by not one, not two but three all stars who in the pre season boldy predicted championship rings...not one, not two, not three....

Maybe in due time they will win one before those three go on their own separate ways.

Lin seems to grab the spotlight from Amare and Melo in New York.
I think he's the spark that NY needed.

Im curious on how the NYK will blend Melo in when he comes back.   There are reasons why Amare and Melo couldnt lift NYK out of mediocrity......

both arent fond of playing defense..........both are fond of long jumpers born out of iso plays.

Did Melo and Amare made their teamates better when they were way down sub-500 team....NO.

Did Lin did a better job making his mates better the last six games?  Definitely yes.

They were hustling.....they were defending...and were getting good looks...primarily to Lin's penetration and kickout offense.

It's D'Antoni's job now that team dynamics dont change when Melo comes back.

baka pag balik ni Melo magkagulo sila. It's Lin's team now, so dapat makisama si Melo tulad ng ginawa ni Chandler and Amare. And to add, Lin has to win over the top teams in the NBA, and at least enter the playoffs. :)

Everyone (including teammates) thought Lin was gonna drive. Kid got balls. Imagine wasting all those time to take a 3? But he deserves it, having tied the game with a 3pt play.

He disrespected Lin's outside shooting and Lin made him pay by draining the game winning 3. :)

Lin has been really dominating the NBA.. di na napapansin yung 9-game winning streak ng matatandang Spurs.. I'm actually surprised with the Spurs' performance.. they went 15-7 after losing Manu Ginobili including a win against league-leading Oklahoma.. this is an impressive run they're having now.. I'm no Spurs fan but I really wish they'd be for real this time..

“As a point guard, my field goal attempts have been really high and I don’t think that’s necessarily good,” Lin said. “I think it’s more of my job to distribute and get people in rhythm.” - Lin

Buti na realize niya ito. He doesn't need to be a scorer to have an impact sa Knicks. Ganyan kase tlga system ni D'antoni's like what he did with the Pheonix Suns when he coached the team. Now they found the right facilitator in the offense, they just need to rump up their defense and they'll be a very good team.

I just read that Melo had a good laugh with Lin when they sat together in the 3rd quarter. So I dont think this will be the case, Melo will blend in. Anyway, he has to as the whole of New York (even the whole NBA fans) are at Lin's favor right now. It will be disastrous to his career to go against the flow.

But Lin's gameplan vs Kings was really a smart play to give an impression to everyone in the team (esp with Melo) that he is still willing to be just a role player inspite of the capability to be the star player of the team. It really shows how humble and submissive this player is.  With this kind of floor leadership, the whole team got motivated and everyone becomes productive.  Just imagine with Melo having the same attitude with the rest, this team will be dangerous indeed and a championship contender.
