Tweets from Jarrett Jack and Wade on Howard's decision to extend his stay in Orlando:
@Jarrettjack03: S/O to @dwighthoward for being loyal and not following this whack trend in the league of dudes trying to team up.#standonyourown2
@DwyaneWade: Loyalty hahahahaha
With D12 staying put, I think we'll see Deron Williams in a Mavs uniform next year. Gerald Wallace is a good starting piece for the Nets, but without the D12 guarantee, the Nets will have problems attracting other pieces in the off-season to keep Williams.
The Fisher trade really stings. But it's a business. Looks like they don't intend to have him bought out so that he can come back to LA - which makes the Lakers' game at Houston next week *interesting*. Yeah, I'm also looking forward to hear what Kobe has to say about this.
On the flipside, no question Sessions addresses LA's needs at PG. He's not going to contain the likes of CP3, Westbrook, Parker, but chances are better with him trying to do that than Fisher/Blake. The addition of Jordan Hill to the second unit IMO is also key esp. on the defensive end.
Great trade for the Clips. They addressed a major need at SG by getting Nick Young and losing just Brian Cook and a pick. The Nene - Javale McGee swap is a wash.
Same for the Spurs. I expect Captain Jack to play better under Pop's system.
Somewhat surprised that the Celtics didn't make a move. At least their Big Three will ride off into the sunset together...
