Di rin ;D

When did you became fan of the Heat?

When Eric Spoelstra became their coach.
Pinoy Pride! Kahit saang larangan ng sports or music or anything na may kasaling dugong Pinoy, doon ako kumakampi, manalo man o matalo!  ;)

Biruin mo, noong kalaban ng Heat ang Bulls, game 1, sabi nila,"Go Bulls, i-sweep nyo ang Miami".Tapos noong natalo Bulls, ang battle cry naman nila "Go Mavs!"  ;D same fans na supposed to be dead since dead na rin teams nila, and should just shut up. Sports lang dapat, pag talo na Team mo, accept it na and root for them again next season or palit ka na ng team.  ;D

no need to get offended or be bitter when your team fails or someone says something not nice about your team.  ;)

Bah! Where's the fun in staying quiet once your team lost? Go ahead. Cheer for the next team to beat the team that beat yours. It's only natural to feel bad and spew hate. A lot of heated, entertaining and educated conversations online are based on sports hate. I, for one, wouldn't mind trash talking as long as you can take as much as you can give.

There's nothing wrong with actively rooting against a particular team (or fighter kung UFC o WWE), that's one of the more enjoyable aspects of the game.

Okay rin yung asaran, basta wala lang personalan.  ;D

I have nothing against the Heat. It's more the Heat's players now I don't like. I was even rooting for Miami during the Pat Riley years coz I liked Alonzo and Tim Hardaway. And as a LAkers fan who grew up watching Showtime with Pat on the sideline, well, go Riley! LOL But as much as I hate them now, I am not blind and stupid to say that I don't see them as a favorite to with it all this year. Everything comes so easy for them now, no awkward stages like last year. I think the Heat or Chicago will emerge as East champs, with Boston possibly upsetting one of them, if they ever meet.

The West? I imagine it's OKC and SAS as best bets to win it. If OKC and SAS face in the West Finals, I expect OKC to advance. They are just too long, too fast and very hungry. But either of the two will have to wait another year coz the LAkers will win it all.  ;D What? You expect me to let any other team look glorious compared to my team? Hehehe

Peace!

This thread is starting to heat up, and the playoffs haven't started yet.  :)  Hope the exchanges this post-season will be as "entertaining" as last year.

Playoff matchups to date:http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/matchups

We deserve better.

Speaking of hate..analysts say that one of the reasons why there are a whole lot of LA Haters in the US is simply because for the past 52 years in the league they have won a total of 16 championships. That is equivalent to hoisting the trophy every 3.25 years.

Talk about knowing what it takes to get to the top.

oo. mas mabuti na ibili na lang ng gadgets, im not like you na gumagastos parati sa MP at night club.  :D

OT na. back on topic.. i want the OKC Thunder to make it into the Finals, para mas lalo mahirapan ang Heat just in case they make it there in the first place.  :D

True...Kobe is the love him or hate him kind of a player. There are no in betweens.

I do believe however that barring any future injuries to that OKC kid named KD, he will far surpass KB's individual achievements. I doubt it though if he could match the 5 rings that he has since OKC will have a headache managing the new and much more stringent salary cap in order to surround KD and Westbrook with the necessary pieces to get to the top again and again and again....OKC is a such a small market compared to Hollywood and they can't spend that as much like LA who just shrugs and pays the taxes year after year.

Speaking of which...Harden is an FA next year. He will command max salary from suitors. I doubt if OKC can match given the fact that they already have two max salary players. There is a strong possibility that this might be their last run as the KD + Westbrook + Harden trio.

for me, Westrbrook is overpaid. Harden brings much more intangibles to their team IMHO.

If he manages to tank the post season of OKC by coming up with those 3 for 25 performances on multiple nights then he might be traded away after the season is over in order to clear up cap space to sign Harden and a solid pass first PG.

2013-14 pa magiging Restricted FA si Harden sir. Kasabay ni Ibaka.

Restricted FA pa silang dalawa, so OKC can match any offers as long as it's reasonable.
