Staples fans are really quiet. Been that way since I can remember. I think they deem themselves too classy to exert the extra effort to make louder than usual noise. And making them wear those colored tshirts is useless because of the lights out ambiance. And, yes, how dare the LAkers organization make them wear cheap shirts to cover up their designer name clothes.  ;D

If you want noisy California basketball crowd, go to a Warriors or Clippers game, especially GSW games.

The fans are probably class act people....

The players arent. Uhhhmm - Bynum, Artest, Barnes??  ;D ;D ;D Bynum even said words recently that he wasnt able to back... He certainly could "Talk the Talk", but he didnt "walk the walk" :D  - The Lakers though, IMO - will advance and face the OKC. :)

Goodbye NY!
Pansin ko lang parang may problema si Amare, he's acting weird lately. Ano kaya mangyayari sa kanila next season?

Well, the series between Miami and NY ends (4-1)  ;)

There was no 1st round upset like someone predicted  :D

I guess some NY fans will just have to "rebook it"  ;) ;D

Goodbye NY!

Go Heat!

being a Spurs fan, I would want a slow paced game, so Spurs-Celtics.

Reality check - malamang spurs-heat sia.

nagwawala lang ang Laker fans sa Staples Center pag nanalo ng championship ang Lakers sa homecourt nila.

ang weird naman kung nanalo na nga, dedma or tahimik pa din noh?  ;D

regarding the lighting, i read somewhere na ginaya lang ng Staples Center yung lighting sa Madison Square Garden.

mas may laban ang Indiana sa Heat compared sa NY, as long as they limit Lebron IMHO.

that's easier said than done. good luck Pacers!

as for NY, same result every year if Melo would still insist on playing ISO Melo all the time.

YES. kahit na pinapanalo nila ng 1 game ang Knicks ko.  >:( :D

but deep inside.. im a Lebron fanboy, i just don't like him playing for the Heat.  ;D

seriously, i agree that the Heat can take out the Pacers in 5-6 games. even though Indiana has the manpower compared to the Knicks, i don't think they have enough to beat Lebron and Wade in a 7 game series.

for me, mas mahirap ang celtics because I think they have a better D than Heat.. I don't bet kasi against teams with above average Defense and great PGs..

But heat will beat the celts.. so Spurs-Heat pa rin.. At least maka abot lang sa Eastern Finals ok na, with their age, achievement na yun for PP and KG..

Melo was trying to prove that he can beat those 2 guys, pressure.. haaay they really need a pass first defensive guard, mahirap hanapin yun..  :).. good luck to NYK this offseason, they have a good rival next year in Brooklyn..

Ako naman, Celts and Lakers are dangerous teams kasi... kaya, wild card ko sila, with the Spurs and the Heat as heavy favorites in the end.

OKC - KD is one heck of a player, but unless wesbrook and the gang continue to pile up on their turnovers, they will be punsihed by the LAL for that, moreso the spurs if magkita sila... Veteran/championship tested teams dont make those mistakes, siguro yun ang edge ng older guys.... The young guys have the edge on athletisicm naman...
Very interesting NBA playoffs ang 2012 :)

me too, can't trust Lakers D, parang tamad sa fastbreak, imagine na lang when they face OKC's Durant and Westbrook.. scoring pwede kobe and Bynum can handle that, but Defense, nah..

same here. as much as i hate to see them win it all this year, i guess that's gonna be the reality.

IMHO, even if D. Rose didn't go down with an ACL injury, the Bulls aren't enough to beat Miami in a 7 game series.

why? their lack of a consistent second scorer who can create his own shot. as much as Deng is good, he's not that second scorer that im talking about. add to the fact that Boozer keeps on playing soft by taking those fadeaway jumpers of his instead of pounding it inside the paint like he's supposed to.
