Present.

Honestly, I'm not too "interested" with the EC but I want the Heat to win the EC. And then lose to the Spurs.

Not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven, right? If they lose to the Spurs, that's two. Six more to go.

BWA HA HA HA HA!

:p

nbc

hahaha inunahan na.  :D

IMHO, sure na pasok sa NBA Finals ang Heat. Boston is clearly struggling and i don't think they have enough to stop Lebron and Wade. di bale, either Spurs or OKC naman ang makakaharap nila.  ;D

In the bag na ba sa Spurs ang WC? Mabigat din kasi OKC.  ???
Anyway, you have three teams left to root for to bring Miami down. Your winning ratio 3:1  ; ::)

4 (SA) -1 (OKC) prediction ko, but I wouldn't be surprised if SA sweeps OKC.

Unlike sa Spurs, lahat gumagalaw, team defense is top notch. SA is 18-0 in their last 18 games. That says a lot.

true but then again it's hard to go up against Durant and Westbrook. sa tingin ko mas mahihirapan depensahan ng Miami ang dalawang 'to compared sa team play ng SAS. defense-wise Miami can go head to head against SAS and Chalmers can defend Parker more than Westbrook. OKC can also better defend Wade and James if in case Bosh can't play. Ibaka can easily give help defense on both Wade and James which in turn gives Durant a breather in defending Lebron and concentrate more on offense.

offensive execution of Pop is better than Brooks, SAS can better slice through or make the MIA defense collapse than Durant/Westbrook.

Pag defense naman hindi 1 on 1, mas angat sa MIA ang team D. E.g. kay Hibbert, sinasabi nila just pound the ball to him, pero dahil sa HEAT defense, di nila mapasahan si Hibbert.

No di mahihirapan sa D kila Durant/Westbrook, we have battier, lebron and dwade for that then team D wise the others.

... but

Pop is better in slicing/or making a tactic that can make his SAS execute fluidly and make the MIA D collapse etc.

^ NA sana wag mangyari, hope SPO is up for the challenge.

true but then again it's hard to go up against Durant and Westbrook.

I think they'll let Westbrook do his thing. Currently, he's shooting more than Durant so Durant's offense may suffer in the long run.

sa tingin ko mas mahihirapan depensahan ng Miami ang dalawang 'to compared sa team play ng SAS. defense-wise Miami can go head to head against SAS and Chalmers can defend Parker more than Westbrook.

Pero andyan pa rin si Duncan, si Manu, Si Leonard, si Green, si Tiago, si Stephen, si Bonner etc. You can shutdown 2 players, but SA's remaining 3 can score. Unlike MIA's remaining 3 na maghihintay lang pasahan o magmintis si Lebron or DWayne bago makatira.

I do think OKC will win over MIA but I disagree that OKC can better defend than SA. Like I said, SA's team defense is top notch. SA's frontcourt will force OKC/MIA to shoot from the outside and the guards are quick.

the Spurs have done well on defense, holding opponents to 42% shooting and 88.8ppg

but the OKC Thunder is their biggest challenge yet.

unlike the Jazz and Clippers, OKC has multiple players that can get their own shot and create for others.

they also have the youth and athleticism.

SA also have youth. Matanda nga yung Big 3, pro bata yung iba. SA is 2-1 against OKC this season. They lost Jan 8, when Jefferson was still there, Manu was injured, no Stephen Jackson, no Diaw.

I view this, as the others mentioned as the other way around.

as in like, SAS is the biggest challenge for OKC yet unlike a different Dallas team from last season and a non-team player Kobe led with Gasol disappearing Lakers.

i view it as it is, the OKC Thunder is the biggest challenge for the Spurs.

i do acknowledge San Antonio's excellent play this season including the playoffs. but it doesn't mean that just because they demolished their first two playoff opponents, the same would happen in this year's WCF.

but i'll be rooting for the Western Conference in the NBA Finals, that's for sure.  ;)

OKC will have a hard time against a well-disciplined and well coached team like the Spurs.. their first 2 rounds were not so impressive, to be honest.. they were way better than the Mavs but it was still a close series.. it was a sweep, yes, but it could have easily gone the other way.. and it was the same case against the Lakers.. if they play the same way against the Spurs, they'd be swept like the Jazz and the Clippers..

the Spurs may not have been challenged yet in the playoffs but they've been consistently good all throughout the season.. they've had two 11-game winning streaks and now they're on an 18-game streak.. they've won 45 of their last 52 games, if I'm not mistaken.. the last run as impressive as that was the 72-10 Bulls..

the playoffs may be a different story but the Spurs, as Blake Griffin said, play the same way, whether they are up 20 or down 20 (but if they play the same way, they should never have to be down 20  ;D).. right now, no other team does..

and the series against the Lakers could have gone 3-1 for the purple and gold if not for some bone headed plays. (hey.. i swear, im not bitter!)

i agree that OKC would have a hard time against the Spurs, but it wouldn't be like the first and second round for Popovich and his battle tested crew of veterans mixed with youth and some athleticism.

Harden vs. Ginobili should be quite interesting

(but if they play the same way, they should never have to be down 20  ;D)

LOL  :D

also don't forget that MIA blew the Spurs in their lone regular season match-up although we all know that the regular season is a different beast from the playoffs.
