It seems that people are forgetting that wade already has a championship ring and he had to carry a 300 pound burden named Shaquille. There was no big three there, just one franchise player and a lot of role players who knew what they needed to do.

Yes Wade was marvelous in that series against Dallas scoring at will for 4 straight winning games after consecutive setbacks in the 1st two games.

He was the main man and should still be the main man but now it seems during crunch time, the coach gets confused whom he should call the last play for, Wade or LBJ. nalilito silang lahat and that's why LBJ always opted to pass instead of taking it strong to the hoop.

if the Heat don't win a championship this year, Spo would probably be replaced or demoted to assistant coach next season. would that mean a comeback for Pat Riley?

also read a rumor a couple of weeks ago that Phil Jax might take a chance with the Heat.

Phil working for Pat? I doubt that will happen.
Probably Riley will again call the shots for MIA should Spo fail again.

yeah, same here.

oh btw, Phil Jax considered the Orlando Magic as a basketball executive, but decided to go with another opportunity.

if things pushed through, Scottie Pippen was supposed to be the head coach. ;D

KG's guarantee was meant for the team owner though in private and not to the general public in a grand spectacle of an atmosphere complete with light shows and confetti.    ;D

What's the big difference? The confetti?  ;D

what the Heat did when they got Lebron and Bosh isn't *ahem* normal in the NBA.

in other cases, simple press conference lang. i've been watching the NBA since the days of the Bulls' first 3peat (early 90's) and usually ganon nga lang, no light shows and confetti.

he guaranteed a back-to-back after already getting one championship a year before his statement.. Lebron boasted of winning more than one championship when he has yet to win a Finals game.. that's the difference.. ;D

okay lang magyabang, you just have to back it up.. yan yung challenge ng karamihan sa Miami at kay Lebron.. Unless they win it all, that celebration before the start of last season will always be brought up..

in sports, most fans tend to forgive winners of their past indiscretions.. but most fans also crucify arrogant losers.. for Miami, success is the best revenge and victory is the greatest redemption.. until they do that, their premature celebration last season will always be seen as arrogance and not a rallying cry for their fans..

exactly and his guarantee is excusable since he got injured the next season and they lost to the magic in the east finals. how in the world would KG back up his word if he isn't on the floor playing. hehe.

ano ba statistics sa NBA na nanalo yung team na down 2-3 sa best-of-seven series? alam ko kasi sa mga na down ng 1-3 eh 8 teams pa lang nananalo.

I'm impressed with how Danny Ainge and Doc Rivers keep the Celtics in competitive level since their championship year with the acquisition of Garnett and Allen when they failed to get the #1 draft rights w/c was supposed to be Greg Oden.
Over the years, they have done a good job signing veteran players that contributed significantly as role players.
Players movement was excellent.
Forget about the Perkins' trade for Jeff Green. In my opinion , it was a decent trade to get Green that time as they forecast to match up with MIA's LBJ at the wing position and relieve the aging Pierce and Allen.
This year, the move to trade for Bass for Baby Davis served justice. At first, I thought that was a crazy move since Davis was playing very well for them for years but Bass slowly and effectively fit into their system and played well this season.
Another was the acquisition of Pietrus in place of the injured Green was a blessing as he's now delivering clutch baskets during the playoffs.
Even the veteran Kenyon Dooling is playing very well as a reliever to Rondo.
Sayang lng injured si Bradley sa Philly series but other bench players like Daniels are stepping up.

ito ang latest na natatandaan ko.. the Lakers won their last title after being down 2-3 vs. Boston in 2010.. they played in their home court though in the next 2 games.. not the same case for the Heat..

but the Heat fans can at least take comfort on the fact that my kangkungan-wading Lakers were able beat Boston after being down 2-3.. so until the fat lady sings, the Heat still have a chance of avoiding being neighbors of my Lakers.. ;D

1. The Thunder can become the 15th team in NBA history to erase a 2-0 deficit and win a best-of-seven series.

2. After going 50 days without a loss, the Spurs have been beaten three times in five days.

3. San Antonio has never won a playoff series when forced to play a Game 6 on the road. The Spurs won in Dallas in Game 6 in 2006, but proceeded to lose Game 7 at home.

bad sign for my Spurs.. kaya pa yan.. :)

actually, i don't think there's a problem with Lebron's stats.

it's more of a mental and psychological thing.
