Game 2 is critical for the road team under the 2-3-2 format. Reposting these stats from last year's Finals (when Dallas was in the same 0-1 series deficit):

* Only two teams — the Detroit Pistons in 2004 and the Miami Heat in 2006 — swept Games 3, 4 and 5 at home since the NBA adopted the 2-3-2 format for the Finals in 1985.  [Note: Both won the championship.]

* Twelve teams won the first two games at home. Only one of them failed to win the title (Dallas in 2006, ironically against Miami).
We deserve better.

"Time for Lebron" is, currently the No. 1 Trending Topic on Twitter.

This is my favorite...

@TheScottyAdams: "Kevin Durant did what a true superstar is supposed to do in the 4th quarter… take the game over. Time for LeBron to take notes #NBAFinals"

For me, it's Westbrick > Wade... Westbrick, currently, is 10 out of 24 ATTEMPTS! But, has 8 rebounds and 11 assists.

wow jordanesque! hahaha. si jordan averaged over 22 shot attempts per game.

Kung naging Chinese si LBJ, his Christian names would be Lebron Kang and James Kong.

Detroit in 2004 and coincidentally Maimi in 2006. also, only one team has won the NBA Finals being down 0-2 on the road which is also Miami in 2006.

being down 0-2 wont be that bad as MIA will have 3 consecutive games played at their home court so malaking advantage yan sa MIA and definitely disadvantage for OKC should they split their first 2 home games.

Game 1 palang kasi, anything could happen. :)
Although I believe that in the NBA record book, there are more teams who win the championship after winning Game 1 of the Finals.  Heard it from a commentator a few years ago, and I'm sure it hasn't changed.

Miami can't finish off a very solid OKC team in Game 1.  Sayang, they were playing good team basketball in the first half.  I thought nagkanya kanya in the 4th quarter.

Game 2 is crucial.  Miami needs that win. ;)  Isang steal lang ng panalo and definitely Miami will be back.  It's still anybody's ballgame.

on a 2-3-2 NBA Finals format. only two teams won the middle 3 home games. it's 90% sure that OKC will win one game at the Heat home court. Miami can't afford to be down 2 games. it's not like the other playoff rounds where you can be down 2 games and still have a big chance win the series.

Picked this up on twitter: Teams that won Game 1 of the NBA Finals have gone on to win 11 of the last 15 titles.

This series will really start to "trend", depending on who wins Game 2.

I second. Miami NEEDS TO WIN GAME 2 if it wants to have a chance in this series.

Bumalik 'yung dating laro ni Bosh..., non-factor nanaman  >:(

LBJ played decent, but not great. 'Di ko alam kung bakit sila nag-pipilit tumira sa labas, mas maganda naman resulta 'pag nag  drive to the basket sila  ??? Sana hayaan na lang ng Big 3 kila Chalmers at Battier 'yung outside shooting.

Although talo Miami, nakita naman na may chance sila against OKC, madami kasi nag akala na OKC will just massacre Miami.

Let's Go Heat!

AFAIK wala pa talo OKC sa homecourt nila this playoffs.. Solid ang crowd sa homecourt nila. Ang titindi ng energy. And this is one of the factors na mahihirapan ang Miami.

Good statistic for Miami.  This means that the law of averages will soon catch up with OKC.  They are bound to lose 1 or a couple of home games ;D

4th kanto na! CHOKING TIME again for LBJ mukhang hndi na nya magagawa un mga strong driving in you face lay ups and dunks w/c he usually do from the 1st to the 3rd quarters.
He's now satisfied to just pass the ball.
3 minutes already gone in the 4th and LBJ nawawala sa eksena sa offense ng MIA.

i am wondering the whole 4th quarter, LBJ is being guarded by a smaller man both height and size and talent, how come he can not take advantage of this? is it becasue this is not the play designed for him sa 4th or he just does not want to engage that much?

If Kobe had won 7 championships and had 0 assists during his career, what then? I'd relate to the assist stat more on point guards rather than "shooting" guards.  ;)

Okey, but for now it is a big "If"  ;D
I was quoting kung sino mas "bwakaw" si MJ or Kobe. I'm not quoting kung sino mas magaling o mas madami championship.
I'll be lying kung sasabihin ko na hindi "bwakaw" si Kobe  ;D

Considering the fact that every 1st quarter of the game OKC crowd won't sit unless their team make their 1st basket.  :)
