naging tentative lahat sila on the 2nd half.  >:(

i share the same observation, parang walang gustong tumira, Battier is doing very well but lahat ng tira sa end games puro kabig sa kaliwa yung pulso

sayang nga points ni battier, baka di na maulit yang ganyang scoring niya. wade had 19 points, respectable for some but when you're the leader of the team more is expected of you, lalo na sa end game. in fairness kay lebron he made shots and sank free throws in the fourth. tingin ko dito more on lack of defensive execution ng miami sa end game. spo should adjust to avoid a 2 nothing hole

from the play by play kasi saka sa mga ibang nababasa ko na recap, sa mga misses ni Wade galing mga points ng OKC.

Anyway, feel out game lang daw ito sabi ni LBJ... and malay natin maSweep ang next games :D

just read my previous post...

New York Knicks = kangkungan
Indiana Pacers = kangkungan
Boston Celtics = kangkungan

i agree. although Lebron only made 7 points in the fourth, he never really received any crucial help specially from DWade. (big fan of Wade as well)

Lebron should turn on the switch again like he did in games 6 and 7 in the ECF.

harden was not a factor offensivley but that Thabo guy shone on all angles, a lot of intangibles, defense on lbj, some offensive moments and hustles.

westbrook played really well also, if he does consistently, i think Miami would have a tough time even if lbj and wade play their usual

one thing sure, we are being treated to a good game of basketball.

not to take anything away from lbj coz he's a great player.. actually one of the best ever.. but i think KD should have gotten the MVP award this season... he's more deserving imo..

as for the reason why natalo heat sa game 1.. probably because of the dancing-dancing na parang mga lasheng after the ECF... nauna kasi celebration baka nawala focus.. nakalimutan na may finals series pa with okc.. hehehe...

pero it's still too early to tell sino talaga sa dalawa magwawagi.. game 1 pa lang naman. marami pang mangyayari.. let's just wait how miami will adjust and respond in game 2.. at the end of the day lahat tayong nba fans ang panalo kasi ang gandang bakbakan talaga nitong okc-miami finals na ito.. sarap panoorin..  ;D

LOL.

ka noli less of a pressure sa OKC kase nag over achieve na sila kung tutuusin, mabilis na sila nakarating sa champioship compared to others

ang heat madaming factors working for them, experience,, current league mvp with them and lbj pronouncing he will get multiple championship for the team,

yung aura kase ni lbj sobrang lakas ng dating as if he is the king of the world kaya mataas ang expectations sa kanya

that's right, OKC kumbaga has nothing to lose kaya laro lang ng laro ng walang kakaba kaba and on the other hand naman sa Heat, must play hard otherwise as other would say, nakakahiya.

W2W or Will to Win ang key dito. confidence level must be at he highest possible. yung mamang MJ tira lang ng tira ng walang kaba.

Gaano kaya kaganda ang samahan ng players with coaches? Baka meron din sa kanilang sisihan? Oh well...

In fairness, I see intellectual analyses on the thread naman.  Pero alam mo kasi dpogs, para sa basketball fans like us, emosyon talaga ang umiiral. Kaya masaya ang basketball kasi highly emotional.  Di naman kasi tayo analysts.  We are mere fans and spectators of the sport we love.  Kaya nga may cheering and jeering.  May asaran. May kangkungan. May itlugan.  May kamatis at sibuyas. All part of the game.  Kaya masaya.
---
Now here's my analysis ( intellectual or emotional bahala na kayo ) :  OKC was the better team  down the stretch.  Coach Brooks made some crucial adjustments / plays much better than Spoelstra. They (Miami) just have to play consistent and brilliant basketball ALL GAME LONG.  For a while there Miami's game was clicking.  Tama ang spacing.   The shooters were open and hitting shots.  Lebron and Wade should really play more in the inside, especially Lebron.

So, dpogs, I expect our Miami team to be back strong and take Game 2, especially Lebron.  Remember the last time people wrote him off for a crucial Game 6 in Boston? 45 pts, 15 rebs & 5 assists. ;D ;D

hats off to sir mattia

even though you're cheering for the Heat, you acknowledge the positives on the other team as well.

definitely kaya ng Miami ang OKC. even with OKC's win in game 1, this series is far from over.

playoff basketball is all about proper adjustments by the teams involved.

sa taong ito, dalawang sunod na na ang Miami naungusan ng kalaban pero sila pa din naman ang nanalo, this one can never be different except na OKC ang kalaban, sa Indiana, the team just dont have enough firepower to match with Miami, sa Boston, they dont have enough energy to last it out

with OKC, they have the energy and the firepower, should make the series really interesting, maganda sana umabot ng game 7 para labas lahat ng lakas ng both teams

But I am happy to see new faces like Scott Brooks.  He is earning my respect as a great tactician.

As for Coach Kabayan Spoelstra, haay,  I don't want to be in his shoes right now coaching 3 superstars with such egos.

Shot blockers nila guards, lebron and wade. Kaya dami drives ni westbrook and durant. Pag nag help naman, drop pass kay colison, perkins and ibaka for the dunk.

OKC spreads their offense very well on the second half kaya ang daling mag drive at mag jump shot plus Westbrook and Durant getting their strides from out and the perimeter, malamang choking defense all game long gagawin ng Miami next game.

that gaping hole in the middle is one of the Heat's weaknesses. they tried to get Samuel Dalembert before the lockout shortened season started, but eventually failed to do so since they only had the $5 million midlevel exception to offer.

Dirk Nowitzki On Durant: 'He's Way Ahead Of My Curve'

Quote
Dirk Nowitzki has paid close attention to Kevin Durant’s playoff run.

"KD," Nowitzki said, "is way ahead of my curve. He's arguably the best player in the league right now. I see a guy that really has no holes.

"He's a 6-10 guy with a 7-4 wingspan who can shoot it from the parking lot. He's posting up now. In transition he's so long that, when he gets a pass from the 3-point line, it's a layup or dunk with one step. He's got the one- or two-dribble pull-up, which you need to be a great scorer, because you can't just shoot 3s or go to the basket if you want to be a great scorer, 'cause sometimes you can't get all the way to the bucket. He can go both ways, one or two dribbles and up.

"He's way more of a 3-man than I ever was. He handles the ball way better on the break than I ever did. He's got deeper range. And he's doing all this at 23. He's won the scoring title three times in a row, so that he means he won the first one at 21. I barely got through my rookie year. When I was 21, Gary Trent was still killing me in practice."

ang difference is di naman talaga na dominate ng Thunder ang buong game one. they were actually playing catchup more than half of the game. yun nga lang hindi talaga sila sumuko at tumira ng mga ill advised shots. napabilib din ako sa disiplina na ipinakita ng OKC, didn't really know they had it in them.
